"Chris and his team are absolutely fabulous!!  A++  Not only are they respectful of your home and noise levels, they are patient and communicate extremely well in the worst weather conditions (our winter this year has not been very helpful to outdoor projects!!).  The team arrived on time every day, they were neat and always cleaned up at the end of the day.  The work itself... I have no words.... the deck is exquisite!  The custom work done on the rails, the details and finishing touches done in the smallest of features is just beautiful.  The time they take to measure, measure again, and cut is perfect.  The aesthetics are constantly watched and Chris helped with many other ideas whenever I had questions. <br /> The team is courteous and a pleasure to have around.  Chris and his team also do custom woodwork furniture... we are looking now on what to add to our wonderful new deck! <br /> Thank you to Custom Deckworks for making our home just that much better... and a beautiful new deck to sit out on this spring and summer.  The out-building is a fantastic addition for storage, and for my husband's wood work/tinkering needs. <br /> Thank you again!  We will definitely recommend, refer, and hire the Custom Deckworks team again!! <br />"

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"smoothly so the "look" would not be obtrusive.  Justin's two guys who did all the work and laid the new tile floor were always on time, and their work ethic was impeccable.  I was amazed that they would come in their morning with the thermos bottle of coffee, take a break to eat cold sandwiches for lunch and never leave the job until around 5:30 or 6:00 PM when work had to be shut down for the next stage of the job.  That kind of work ethic is something you do not see much of anymore, and is so much appreciated by the customer.  <br /> <br /> The cutting and laying of the tile was so professional and well done and their was zero waste of tile- in fact 3/4's of one box of tiles were left over.  And the installation of the grout, grout sealer, 1/4 round molding, and re-installation of the appliances was done without any additional scratching of walls or moldings was amazing.  This was a major job that spanned several days because of the Black Mold mitigation, drying, new base material under the tile, laying of new tile, grout installation, grout sealer, appliance replacement, etc., and everything had to be done in steps.  <br /> <br /> Justin, and his employee's are the most professional, hard working, knowledgeable, nice to be around folks you will ever invite into your house to do work.  This was a very trying project which required days of my Wife & I to eat out all of the time while the job was being worked, and Justin, Cody, and Nick were very understanding throughout the entire process.  Their isn't enough adjectives to describe the absolutely superb job they did.  And, if you need to contact me about any questions you might have please call me at [removed], and I will be glad to answer any questions you might have.  [Member name removed]"

"Edited Review: <br /> <br /> I edited my original review because it probably came across as being harsh. I just wanted to leave this tidbit for people that were in my situation of being lost in a foreign unknown land of window shopping where anyone can be a "contractor". <br /> <br /> I opted to give this company a "C" rating for because of a pushy / arrogant sales pitch that left a lot to be desired. <br /> <br /> People do your research before calling companies!! Understand what makes a window a good window. Know what is marketing jargon that sounds too good to be true, and understand the glass ratings. Also keep in mind the installers warrant is just as important as the window's warranty. <br /> <br /> Also make sure you get several quotes, it's a good way to discover if you're being taken or getting a good deal. This company was not a good deal, and the fact that I did not like the owners mannerisms really grounded this transaction before it even hit the runway. <br /> <br /> Good Luck"

"After leaving a request for a quote back in the Spring, we were finally contacted in late August.  My husband was in a business meeting at the time of the call (on his cell phone), and requested that they call us at home after 6pm that evening.  We did receive a very freindly return call a day or two later, and Kim arranged to schedule a quote the following week, once he checked his schedule.  My husband told him to call the home number after 6pm, or his cell number during the day.  We received two or three messages from Kim on the home phone during the next few days, but of course we were at work.  Kim did not leave a call back number or time.  We were never able to make connection, and received no more calls after Aug 24.  We decided to go ahead with a prior quote from another company. <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Redfield, AR

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
