"The team that executed the project was punctual and knowledgeable and they mostly stick to what the sales guy has promised. However, there was one last-minute change: they claimed it would take too long to remove the siding and apply the dense-pack insulation on second floor walls from the outside, making it impossible to finish the project in just one day. The alternative was to drill holes from the inside to apply the insulation, which I approved. They cover the holes when the finished, but it didn't look good (see the picture I attached). "I can't speak more highly of my experience with HCI and Alvin Ashley in particular. Being a military veteran I felt an immediate camaraderie with Alvin who himself is a veteran. As part of quoting the job he walked my wife and I through the entire process start to finish. He covered in detail what would happen at every step of the process including what materials would be used and why they were the right choice. Though he quotes jobs now, his experience as a roofer clearly showed as he easily fielded the dozen or so questions that I had. I live in a historic home in Farmington. But Roofman was honest and gave me a quote a two thousand less and told me I did not need a new roof. I am so happy that there are still honest people out there. I called and spoke to a professional and courteous person over the phone, and the next day a professional showed up at my house and clearly explained their services and my options. The cost of their services was on par with other restoration companies (not cheap). They came out a couple of days later and tore out the water-soaked drywall and doors, etc, and cleaned and sanitized everything. They did excellent work and were efficient, professional and friendly.
