"About a year and a half ago I had a bid for an asphalt driveway. When Norm came out, he read the site and suggested paving more than I had planned, and proceeded to offer a bid lower than I had thought. After one year I feel that Roads Paving over delivered. This spring they will be sealcoating my driveway. Were I to need subsequent work, they would be my first and only call Larry Martin"

"We’re extremely pleased with our new asphalt paved driveway. From start to finish, the communication was clear, the workmanship was top-quality, and everything was completed on schedule. The crew were professional, respectful, and left the site clean every day. The finished result looks great and feels solid. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"I am delighted with this project and would highly recommend this company! The whole team was polite and professional, the finished product is fantastic, and the price was very fair (compared to several other bids for the same work.) They replaced nearly 100 feet of my asphalt driveway and took great care in returning my adjacent landscaping to how it looked prior to the work, which was no small task. Great work, guys - and many thanks!"

Small jobs welcome

"We had about 750 sf of concrete removed and new reinforced colored concrete put in. Kenet and his crew were great to work with. They were very timely and responsive and they paid attention to the details. It was the small things too, like protecting the street when the cement mixer truck was unloading or how they cleaned up the job site at the end of the day. They even went down in front of our neighbors houses to blow out the demo dust."

"We have worked with Triple R Aggregate on several major projects since 2014. We have used them for asphalt repairs, installation of speed bumps, curb replacements and fire lane striping. They have always been an honest hard working crew, delivering what they promise at a very competitive price. They are now our "go to" company for all our driveway and parking lot needs, and we highly recommend them!"

"It all went very well! Leonard Sutter and crew are very knowledgeable, thorough, meticulous and competent in their work. There were many factors and issues related to replacing our circular driveway that other bidders did not even mention. We had tree root issues, permitting problems and drain pipes issues to contend with and they handled all of these very well. They also took great care to line up the asphalt to our adjoining cement garage floor and also with our concrete walkways to the house. We highly recommend Sutter Paving."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Redmond, WA

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
