The owner has great communication skills. He made sure I knew and understood everything that he will be doing to my floors. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to wood, vinyl, and laminate, His price are very reasonable actually the best in town. He makes sure you are happy when the job is complete. "Very pleased with the professional and friendly service received. Eric, the owner, was professional and easy to work with. I appreciated his help with narrowing the flooring choices to what product would be best for what I needed, ie, stand up to heavy traffic in the entryway as well as being waterproof for the baths and kitchen. He also promptly provided all the documentation required by my HOA for approval of what I wanted done. I kept changing my mind about which direction to lay the flooring, so when it was delivered, Eric helped lay out a box of the flooring so I could get a better idea of how it would look overall, very nice. Dan, the installer was also professional and did a great job. I particularly liked the job done cutting the bottom of the door frames to slip the flooring underneath. Looks like it was just meant to be that way. Since the name of his showroom is Floors and More, I asked if he did counter tops too. He worked with Andrew Shubin at Pro Granite to order the quartz for the kitchen and find remnants for the baths which helped keep the cost down. Very pleased all the way around. I plan to have him install carpet in the near future and possibly replace the tile around the fireplace."

"I had a great experience with Cristian and Travis from Five Star Hardwoods. They were the first to respond when I reached out to several companies for a bid. They made it out to my house in a timely manor and I received a reasonable quote shortly thereafter. They were accomodating and flexible when scheduling the timing of the refinishing. Travis was in charge of sanding and fixing the damaged areas. He was on time and had a great disposition. These guys are doing very hard work... particularly in our case they had to move some very large furniture... and they do it with a great attitude. Cristian is a really nice to work with and he understood exactly what I was looking for as far as the finish and sheen of the wood floors. He clearly takes pride in doing beautiful work. Everything they did exceeded my expectations. We have beautiful wood vent covers in each room now that are flush with the floors and perfectly matching quarter round. The house was cleaned nicely, and Cristian checked in with me after the work was completed to see if we needed some help reassembling a tricky bunk bed that my kids sleep in. Seriously, so impressed and I would highly recommend them!"

The work was accomplished in 2 stages with a thorough cleaning of the house followed by 2 days of painting and small repairs to the shutters. The materials used and the quality of the work is exceptional. The house looks better than new and it really shows when compared to other houses in our neighborhood."

"I know Empire hires many sub-contractors to complete the contract in the 1 day policy . I hired them for a Naghbor that is bed ridden. They tried to talk her into canceling the contract,stating that the flooring was inferior for her Needs. Too cheap, thin & flimsy. She has 2 grown children that are lazy. Their dog is the reason needing new flooring. I personally did 90% of the demo & rehab the sub- flooring just for that reason. The installers just needed to do 1 room. I suspected they didn't want to handle the removal of carpet/padding.The dog was not a factor in that area. They did the job & she is happy with it. I'm not happy w/their work ethic & customer service. Don' lie to get out of a job, suck it up or just quit."
