" I really can’t say a single bad thing about my irrigation installation experience. Chris came out for the quote and was very knowledgeable, professional and listened to my needs. I asked where heads would go because I was considering some hardscaping in the near future and didn’t want placement to be an issue. He actually recommended a company to me and the two companies worked with each other on my entire backyard makeover The installation crew was meticulous with adjusting the heads and I love the different styles of heads placed around the property. Chris’ communication was awesome from start to finish. The technician programmed my controller for me and the system has worked beautifully. I hydroseeded and began to see grass after just a week with a sprinkler system. The whole experience was seamless and I couldn’t be happier."

"I Used them for firewood and received the worst wood I’ve ever seen - mostly super short and full of wet, rotting wood and bark. I was also told it was a full cord even though it seemed quite short. After pulling what I could salvage I finally hired someone else to haul away the last 20% - anything to get it out of my driveway. When I told them it wasn’t great looking wood Riley responded that it was “good wood for burning”, and he couldn’t help me “if I was buying for the ambience”. Called Kathy and complained about wood quality - was told they would send me a $100 refund (spent $315 on wood, plus $30 to another guy haul it away). I would never buy wood from them again. If they’d rip me off on firewood, I’d hesitate to trust them for anything else."

"Intermittent responsiveness to emails and phone calls. His topsoil compost treatment included numerous pieces of shells. I’ve also found small pieces of metal in our yard as well. He did offer to come rake the yard from it but some of these pieces are too small to rake and ultimately there is no other solution proposed. The prices are definitely much higher than other folks probably due to the organic nature of things but I have to say after a year of this service by lawn does not look any better if not worse. When I mentioned that I wanted to cancel service there is no concern about keeping us as a customer or customer service. Either he’s too busy and has too many customers or doesn’t care about keeping customers around."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Rehoboth, MA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
