"Beantown was great to work with. They are responsive, polite, organized, neat, and they do great work. After dropping off the dumpster, they replaced the roof on my Dutch Colonial house in one day. After the roof was finished two other teams came in to replace all of the siding and rebuild the front portico and side deck and also add a deck extension. "The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house."

"Dave was a pleasure to work with. We initially called in for a facia repair on our siding and a few roof shingles that blew off in a wind storm. Dave informed us we would be able to file a claim with our insurance company for an entire roof replacement. "The job was performed great. Originally it was scheduled to start the day after Thanksgiving but was delayed due to rain. We opted to reschedule after the New Year and the job was scheduled for 2 Jan 19. The crew showed up around 8:30 and were all very nice. The PM showed up a little later and everything went smooth. The job took about 5 hours to replace 3 skylights. The only issue was trying to figure out the remotes since they are solar powered blinds and window openings. After a couple calls to the skylight companies customer service, Sam (PM) did a great job sticking around until all remotes were programmed and everything worked. The deck and yard were cleaned up and back to the original condition. Overall it was a great experience and I'd recommend this company to anyone that asks. That of course is pending any future issues if the skylights leak or have issues but since they were just installed yesterday, it's early for that determination. It did rain last light and there were no leaks so that's a great start!"

"Very pleased with the results; they have some touch up work to do but only rain has prevented completion. Great deal of attention to prep and to detail at every stage of the project. Owner is hands -on and checks work daily. (That does not always happen with other firms.) Small crew is obviously experienced; no "summer replacements" who have never done house painting before. Foreman Jose is excellent: very proactive and attentive to any request from the owner. Again, not always the case with some exterior painted I have used.
One of the cleanest painting crews I have ever used. (Orcutt Painting in Wakefield., MA being the other.)They treat your home and yard as though it was their own- no coffee cups in the flower beds or other trash lying around; all tools stashed at the end of day and nothing lying around in the driveway.
I would use them again and would recommend them.
