"Everything was top-notch from the first contact with Mr. Hamilton through the entire cleaning process. We were considering having new carpet installed but wanted to try having the carpet cleaned to see if it could be restored to a nearly new look. After using Act One, our carpet, which is over 5 years old and has gone through lots of kid and pet accidents, looks basically new. So much less expensive and time-consuming than buying new carpet. Additionally, Mr. Hamilton was pleasant to deal with throughout the process, was always prompt and courteous, and was flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend calling Act One before you consider replacing carpet or rugs."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with Premier Surfaces. Lindsey was my project manager / sales associate. She met my wife and I on a Saturday morning as a special appointment (they do not have regular hours on Saturday, appointment only). I had gotten another quote from a different Granite installer that was slightly higher and they only allow you to see their slabs during the week, which is an inconvenience for me. Lindsey was very nice to us, and she answered all our questions. I felt like she went above and beyond for our whole buying experience. We picked a slab, setup a measurement appointment (really early in the morning during the week, like 7 am or earlier). The measurement appointment was on time and took a reasonable amount of time (maybe 30 minutes). My only disappointment with Premier surfaces is they sold me on their SlabSmith program which supposedly allows you to see how your countertops will look upon installation. I took this to mean it would take a photo of my kitchen, and show me exactly what it would look like in a 3d image. The reality is that it shows you a plan view (from above) of what your countertops will look like, and we chose a black granite which had minimal color variation, so it looked like a few black boxes. Lindsey sent me another version of it that had a grainier granite and it still wasn't what I expected (3d), but I could see how it could be helpful for some folks. I just didn't think it was that big of a deal. For the installation, it was relatively easy to schedule, they were supposed to be at our house at 3:15 and they were about 1 hour late, the 4 hour installation time took about 3.5 hours, and ultimately it resulted in a beautiful end product. So I think there's some room for improvement, but I still would use them again without hesitation. See photos below for before and after (also had floors done) and the photos of the Slabsmith."

"We are doing some improvements to our home in order to sell it in the next 6 months or so. We needed to replace 25 year old Formica countertops, and looked at Lowe's, Home Depot, and some other granite installers found on Angie's List. When I went to Premier Surface's showroom and explained to Ashley what I needed, she was very understanding, and showed me several of their granites at our price point. They have a huge selection, but we wanted to keep the price as low as possible. The entire process couldn't be easier. We opted for two different granites (one for the kitchen and kids' bathroom, and another for the master), the offset kitchen sink, undermount sinks for the bathrooms, their 15 year sealer, and for them to do the tear out. The man that did the templat arrived right at the arranged time and was quick and professional. The two installers that came out on 10/31 to do the install were great. We are extremely happy with the quality of both the granite and the installation, and wouldn't hesitate to use Premier Surfaces again, after we purchase our new home. <br />"

"The company had the flooring that I wanted in stock. They provided samples, pictures, and a lot of useful info to help me decide on the flooring and to help in talking to installers about how to best install and finish the flooring, though they did not refer me to any local installers. Once we decided on an installer and were ready to go, we had a fairly tight timeline, which we made clear. The purchase process was easy, but unfortunately our flooring was not picked up at the warehouse on schedule for two days running, and no one notified us -- I had to call the company and get my contact to look into what was happening with our order. They provided a couple of options, and fortunately my installer was able to pick up the flooring at a local terminal, instead of us loosing several days of acclimation time over a long holiday weekend when no deliveries would be made. A lot of calls and emails were exchanged, but they did stay on top of things this time and made sure we got our flooring. The flooring was beautiful, excellent quality and very dry so that the needed acclimation time was minimized. Our installer was very happy with the quality also and the floors look amazing. While the material was not inexpensive by any means, we feel that is was really worth the investment in our home, and would be surprised if anyone else would have supplied as high a quality product for a lower price. Moreover, though it did take some time on my part, basically acting as a GC, finding and hiring an installer, materials, and making sure the material got to us, based on an initial quote we got, we believe we saved at least 25% of the total project over contracting with a local installer to handle everything."

"It was FABULOUS! Merrie was very helpful through the whole process. The template process was quick, and the template maker was very polite and did a great job. We were able to go to the granite supplier and pick the slab we wanted, and the folks we dealt with there were super nice. And, the installers were quick, careful, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. We had our template made on Thursday, picked our slab on Friday, and our countertop was installed by Wednesday! The price was much lower than the home improvement stores, and all the workers that came to the house were either on time or early. It was way more than I hoped for, and I would DEFINITELY hire them again, no question!"
