Customers say: Terrific value

"Look no further. These guys did a truly beautiful job, with coats of polyaspartic on the floor of our huge garage, then we bought their suggested topcoat of polyurethane. The result is truly gorgeous. They were patient with us as we kept changing our mind on color but went with the suggested light grey with paint flakes and it looks truly beautiful. They were careful and cleaned up nicely too. Nice guys too."

Customers say: True professional

"Besides the great price, John and his staff knew their business and completed the job within 2 days. The weather was getting a bit cold, so they applied the color coat and paint chips on the first day and applied the clear coat the following day. The work and results are top quality. Another quality that I really appreciated was that they were on time and ready to work. For anyone looking to epoxy seal their garage/concrete floors, I highly recommend them."

"I bought the Big Deal which was just for a single top coat to reseal the deck surface.  However, my deck was in a little bit worse shape than the deal allowed.  However, Ryan was awesome and added in sanding and then did the reseal for no additional charge.  The surface is not perfect but that is due to the rough pre-condition it was in and not his fault.  Shortly after the reseal the deck drains started leaking in to the garage below.  Ryan and crew came out again to fix the drain at no additional cost.  Again, this was not in the deal I bought but they provide such great customer service.  I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to friends and neighbors! <br />"

"Greg and his team were recommended by the suppliers of our porcelain tile and while they were not the lowest bid their quality and workmanship were worth every dollar we paid. With flooring installation we have found "you get what you pay for" We went on vacation and came back to beautiful flooring in our hallway and master bath. We highly recommend Tile & Stone Creations and welcome you to contact us if you would like. Jim & Mary Carr Reno NV"

"Concrete flooring is a unique idea, and not many people were willing to take on the job. I probably called a dozen contractors and had difficulty finding anyone willing. Cary and Jon gave us a fair estimate (which was in the middle range of the three that I received), and stuck to it. Concrete can be scary because you never know what is below your floors, and the prep work is overwhelming. The house was vacant, which helped, but it still took 8 full days to complete the job. The crew was meticulous and worked extremely hard. They went through many details to make sure that the floors looked perfect, and the price included some custom stain work in the main entry to the home as well as new concrete in our kitchen, bathrooms, and a 4 inch border around the entire house. <br /> I know $7,500 is a big chunk of change, but honestly, home depot charges about $3 per sf to remove tile, and another $2 and something to put it down, plus the cost of tile and grout, so in the long run, I think it's worth it. We have a beautiful custom floor that needs only be cleaned with a wet mop, hides dirt very well, looks shiny and modern, and NO GROUT TO CLEAN.  <br /> Like I said, they stand behind their work, and once you contract with them, they stick it out even if more time and effort is needed to do the job right. In other words, no surprise additional fees that pop up after the job starts. I highly recommend them. <br />"

"Kate is very professional to work with and easy to talk to. She actually listens to what you want and explains the job before offering the estimate. I got the estimate in just a day which helps if you are on a schedule with your job. The price was good so I had her put me on the schedule which was about 7 days out. The two men came out to power wash the patio structure. They parked on the street so we would have driveway acess without being told. We moved our cars to make room but they still parked on street and that was fine. In many cases, owners need access and so it is good they do this. When they were done spraying it down they started packing up and almost ready to leave. I decided to take a look and I am glad that I did. My home was painted (another company) 8 months ago in a bright color and so I am trying to keep it nice and very clean. When they sprayed down the arbor toward the home all the dirt and debris got on the house. If they would have left it and I was not there to check it would have dried that way. I asked them if it could be hosed down and I think they thought I would do it after they left so I asked them to do it and they got the idea. They washed everything down properly. This is the ONLY thing that I could think of that Kate should tell the crew and it was something I forgot to mention to her. I think most patio structures are painted when the main home is painted and then this is not an issue. <br /> After the weekend the two man crew (different crew) came to paint in the heat. I was amazed at how fast they were as it only took them two days about 6 hrs each day. And the wood needed two coats. They mostly rolled the wood and used a brush in some tight spots. One area the guy sat on top and painted each slat, the other side he did only the top and then used a roller on a pole for the side of each slat. I was watching to see the professional way to do this as I had considered painting it myself. I am glad I hired HOME PERFECT to do the job as it would have taken me two weeks in the heat. The workers never complained and took only one break each day. And they were nice even when they ran out of stain. The estimate was 4 gallons and they ended up using 11 gallons because the wood soaked up so much product. We ran to get them more. <br /> We are pleased with the job and so happy to have a company who actually does what they say they will do. We used two other companies from Craigslist (high rated) that did not do the best job. One woman team did a horrible job on the inside just mainly spraying one coat of paint so thin it was awful.....unfortunately I did not have my glasses on when I checked it and it was a dark over-cast day. The second did ok but he was high in price and objected to my colors. So now, I hope to use Home Perfect for my painting jobs in the future. <br /> Hire them, they do a good professional job at an accurate quote. Thanks Kate see you soon. <br />"

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Reno, NV

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
