Dan Faris and his crew did a marvelous job of tackling every step of the process; from planning, permitting, design, teardown, removal of old garage and every facet of the build. Unlike some contractors I've experienced in the past, he listened to our wants and needs. Discussing what could and couldn't be done while providing the details. I knew they were offering us to be partners in the process, not telling us what the project would be like others had. The team was professional and reliable i knew I could trust them in every facet. Iron Earth Construction and Dan Faris will be my go to for future projects, as I know I can rely on them. "

"Steve Taylor arrived promptly for the estimate and then sent the written ones when promised. Though his schedule was a month or two out, he was able to work in our "smaller job" within a week. Also arrived promptly as scheduled on the work day. The crew was efficient and got the job done in a few hours. Fence looks GREAT! Excellent work. When the rest of the fence needs replacing, I'd want to hire Cedar River!"

"Final product <br /> The main reason Altered Earth isn't getting a D is the final product.  It's gorgeous.  The carpenters who did the product made practical recommendations about how to implement the design that resulted in a product that exceeded our expectations. <br /> The other reason they aren't given a fail is that the owner ate the cost of addressing some site issues that his project estimator missed.  The owner did this to ensure that the final fence was going to be sturdy and fit the site.  Once he realized that the project was going sideways he did his best to remedy it.  Kudos for that. <br /> Communication <br /> Communication with the business owner was incredibly stressful.  He over-shared his stress and personal circumstances, and he brought a very highly charged intensity to every communication.  This made the overall project very very stressful for us to the point where my spouse and I were fighting about whether to kill the project rather than continue. The communication was so bad that I will deal with some gate issues we are having by paying someone else to come fix it rather than have to deal with the business owner again. <br /> Timeliness <br /> There were timing issues from start to finish.  The lag time in getting the bid should have been a red flag, but we were sold on the quality that was promised so I overrode my better judgement.   <br /> The fence took over 6 weeks to finish due to delays at  every stage.  Workers would say they were going to show up and then wouldn't.  The owner said things would happen and they didn't.  Many times the workday consisted of 11 - 3.  So our entire front yard was a job site for the majority of the summer. <br /> Work site/process <br /> The staining took over our garage for over a month.  The cutting and staging of the wood took over the entire front yard.  Bags of garbage were left after the work was completed.  At one point we had a fire when some stain-soaked rags caught fire.  Need I say more? <br /> Would I recommend Altered Earth <br /> If you want a beautiful product and are willing to suffer to get it, then by all means choose this provider. <br /> <br />"

"Dean from Seattle Dog guard was amazing.  He came out for the estimate and we were not quite ready to move ahead schedule or finances wise but he explained everything to us and let us know that he was flexible.  When we were finally ready to have the fence installed we were able to schedule just a couple of days in advance.  He installed the whole fence and system in one day.  He took great care to not ruin the gardens or grass where he laid the line.  In fact after the first rain following installation you couldn't even see where the machine had laid the line anymore.  He came out the following day to place the flags around the yard and begin training with the dogs.  We originally thought that only 2 of the dogs would attempt to leave the yard so only got the two dogs collars and trained.  We soon found out that the third dog would need a collar as well.  I called dean and he was on it.  He came out and fitted the third dog for her collar and did a training session right away with her.  Now all of the dogs understand the training and know what the flags mean so we are able to let them out and enjoy the yard.  I have to say I was a little skeptical that this system would work this well especially when the dogs try to chase deer out of the yard but they have stayed put.  It is so nice to not have to walk them on a leash every time they need to go out!  I would recommend Seattle dog guard to anyone and already have to our neighbor who just got a new dog.  I will use  them again in the future if we should move. <br />"

"We live in a small townhouse community and cannot have a traditional fence. We were concerned about getting a new dog because of this. Now, with Pet Stop encircling our back yard, he is safe, secure and not getting into other people s property. The people at Pet Stop have provided an excellent product and even better service. After I got the blackberries removed, I called them to extend the system. Again, they were willing and ready to provide that follow-up service. I can t say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend their system and their products."

"I think their vet services are fairly new. We've just been using them for a couple of years now but we like them. It's a one-stop pet store. They got veterinarian services and dog grooming. I haven't used them for boarding yet. They are trying to get their boarding started and when they do, we'll use them. Our animals aren't hesitant to go there. In some vets and groomers once we get there, the animals see it and want to get away. We haven't had that trouble in this place at all."
