"Michael Brandt just completed a paint job for us September 30th, 2022, which included a barn, wrought iron fence, gate, and garage doors. Michael and his assistant, Brent, did an excellent job. Michael uses Ultra-premium Dunn Edwards Paint and is very knowledgeable about the chemistry of their products for the specific applications. He recommended the color consultant, Marie, at Dunn-Edwards to assist us with selecting a color for the barn. With her guidance she sent large samples home for us to decide on a color. It made it easy, and we could not be more pleased with the result. Michael took the utmost care in preparation and masking which was especially important to us. He was careful when spraying and applying generous coats of paint. He cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. We felt that Michael was honest and fair in his pricing. We enjoyed working with Michael, Brent, and his faithful docile Dalmatian, Elmer. Should we have the need for additional work, we would hire Michael again."

"Our house closed on 12/26/2012 and we were looking for some work to be done with the floors being a major item. No general contractors were available due to the holidays, however Mark, who specializes in concrete had some availability and scheduled a meeting with us on the 28th I believe. <br /> We told Mark beforehand that we would remove the carpet, pad, baseboard, doors, tackboard, and nails. We asked if he could remove some of the linoleum at the entryway which he did without including the removal of the linoleum in his final price. Mark's people came out a few day later and got right to work. <br /> They took about 1 week (7 days) or so to finish about 1000 sq feet, which was expected as he told us upfront that he was fitting us in around other jobs, and as we hadn't moved in yet this was no problem. <br /> We were only charged $4 a sq ft and the floor came out looking beautiful, Mark's wife Gina, performs the staining and sealing portion, which took some time to do because our heater was out of commission and it doesn't dry very quickly in cold weather, but again we expected this and it wasn't an issue. <br /> Additionally, Mark was kind enough to recommend HD supply as a place to buy new baseboard, and they had an excellent deal we took advantage of. <br /> In summary Mark and Gina are extremely professional, competent, trustworthy, and offer a quality job done in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. At first we wanted to do tile, but had received quotes from a couple of others (who didn't look at the house) for over 8-10 thousand dollars. Mark and Gina even helped us understand what is the best way to care for the floor. I highly recommend looking at their company website for pictures of their work, as you will see it is extremely beautiful and affordable. I would and have highly recommended Richardson's Concrete Effects to friends, family, fellow angie's list members, and anybody else that would be interested, I couldn't have been happier with their service or product. <br />"

"Thank you for the great job that was done by Brooks Painting at my wife and my house. We couldn’t be happier with the product of a total exterior painting. The entire experience was outstanding. • Jeremy helped with color recommendations – and came up with a great color for the base as well as for the trim, eaves, doors etc. • Kristen always kept us informed on scheduling and what to anticipate. • The crew, headed up by Eric with Mike, and Zach did a great job preparing the site and applying the paint. They were at my house promptly for 5 days. Once day to pressure wash and readying the site for application of paint and then Monday through Thursday they did an outstanding job. Great finish and clean-up and you even left me extras if I ever need touch up. As you know I live adjacent to the greenbelt in north Davis, and I have had friends, neighbors and strangers stop by and tell me; “what an improvement” and “nice new colors” as well as “it looks great!” We couldn’t be happier with the whole experience and with the finished product.
