"Tommy, Joe and their crew did a bang up job on our bathroom. There was a roughed in sewer line for the toilet and sink, but no shower. They had to jackhammer through the concrete floor to run a sewer pipe to tie into the rest of the plumbing. They also ran copper water lines to the new bathroom. They also installed the shower and shower faucet. Since we have septic, there was a roughed in sump pit that had to have an ejector pump they installed one too. I'm very pleased with their job and professionalism. It was a HUGE job and they did it promptly. <br />"

"I discovered water on the floor in my downstairs bathroom on Sunday, December 28. Not knowing where the source of the leak was, I turned off the water to the entire house and first thing on Monday morning I called a large local plumbing company and was told nobody could come until New Year's eve, or maybe the day after New Year's. I found Affordable Plumbing on Angie's List, called, and Don came within 3 hours. He identified the plugged sewer drain and snaked it right away which fixed the problem. While checking to see that all drains were working, he discovered a corroded drain pipe in the furnace room, beneath the concrete surface. He didn't have time to fix it then but made it workable until he could return, which he did after New Year's day. He fixed the hole in the pipe and tied in the condensation line from the furnace/AC. His work was efficient and high quality. He showed me everything he did and explained the work. I was very pleased with the service he provided. The $450 I was charged included two visits to my home and fixes for two separate problems. <br />"

"When I called to set the appointment, the lady was very professional and accommodating with the date/time I requested. She asked what the problem was and gave me an approximate idea of the cost, assuming that the plumber did not find anything different and had no issues. The plumber arrived early to the neighborhood, but did not find the house easily; I waved him down to my driveway. He was a very nice young man, but hard to understand at times. He listened attentively as I explained the problems and he started work right away. He cleaned out the kitchen drain pipe rather quickly and easily. He moved to the bathroom sink and after a bit we realized he was having issues with something. He ended up leaving to go back to the shop and came back (in about 20 minutes) with an associate. He said that he had had problems with something but it was his fault and wouldn't be any charge to me. I never exactly found out what it was, but after the other associate arrived, things were fixed quickly and the bathroom sink drain was cleared and working. He went out to his van to write up the invoice and came back in and showed me the cost of $235. I asked him about the toilet and he said he would go ahead and work on it then. He checked it, snaked it and cleared it as well. There was no additional cost for the toilet. Also, they did a pretty good job cleaning up after themselves, especially considering how messy snaking drains can be. <br /> It has been a couple of weeks and everything is draining very well! Very pleased with the service. <br /> <br />"
