"Our 2 years old patio by Builder was insubstantial and flimsy where looked like it would break anytime soon. And it was so small square foots that did not go balance with two stories house as well as install 10' x 10' Pergola on top. Some extension got to be done and getting rip of that cheating pad!! I Chose Total Concrete Service LLC for the jobs among all. Jerry's estimate was affordable to make a new patio concrete size as per my request. He told me his works would make me happy. Sound good, I felt comfortable letting him handle the project. Jerry and his team arrived. They were fast-moving like Concrete Squad and no one fooling around. Within reasonable hours, I got whole new patio slab in front of my eyes that looked gorgeous! The one that is far more than my request with Extra Strength and Solidity, 3D Dimension and Perfect Height. Thanks a Million for Superior Workmanship. Jerry and his team work is the "Total Winner". They worked hard to transform our patio into more durable concrete that I have never had before. They are capable to achieve efficiently for whatever they had to do. The skill and quality are noticeable difference from other such as Builder grade. I am thrilled by the results. Jerry is not only sweet, fun, experienced contractor who is easy to work with, but also carryout what he said and be honest of service, no hassle, no excuses, no cheating of any kind, just treat customer right and get things well done. Highly recommend! Review By Mrs. Lo"

"We've used him for several concrete projects. A rock wall, 2 concrete parking pads, a huge concrete patio and a fire pit pad. He and his crew are always on time, do AMAZING work with great attention to detail & do an excellent job of cleaning up after the project. We will never use another concrete vendor. Seriously, they're the best! We keep thinking of what else they can do for us!"

"First off it was only supposed to be our living room, and they managed to fit in our kitchen, hallway, and entryway. It was just going to look so tacky and we asked if we could have a little more work done without hesitation and with their busy schedule the super Gino made it happen he gave us a vision and he ran with it. We upgraded our home and without breaking the bank. We still need some work done and 100% going to contract State Wide in the near future. I cannot explain how happy we are with their work and can’t wait for them to upgrade our home even more. They are highly recommended, very respectable and consideret crew!"

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Richland, WA

Whether terrazzo is better than porcelain or ceramic tiles for a kitchen or bathroom floor depends on your design preference. Terrazzo can last a long time, but so can a properly installed ceramic tile floor. According to the National Association of Home Builders, the lifespan of a ceramic tile floor is 75 to 100 years, similar to terrazzo.

You should clean terrazzo floors like you would marble, even if there’s no marble in the aggregate. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the polished surface, and steer clear of acidic cleaners like vinegar, which can damage the surface. Instead, use plain water or a neutral cleaner to mop the floor. Then, use a wet vac or squeegee to remove the dirty water. Regular buffing with a soft cloth can help you maintain the shine.

Terrazzo is made by mixing an aggregate like glass or stone with a binder like cement or epoxy. The mix is made and poured into the prepared space you designate. Alternatively, you can purchase prefabricated terrazzo tiles, which consist of similar materials. They’re poured into a mold and cured before installation.

You can add radiant heating under a terrazzo floor, which is an excellent way to combat the naturally cold surface of terrazzo floors. Installing radiant heating costs $1,653 to $6,656. You'll want to install the heating elements under the thin-set epoxy because the layer is thin enough for the warmth to conduct through the floor.

Making your own terrazzo can be a tricky DIY project. The exact mix takes a blend of art and skill to create and requires the expertise of a terrazzo pro. The wrong blend could crack, peel, or break easily, requiring expensive repairs. Finishing and polishing the floor also requires previous experience to achieve a professional appearance. Expect to pay between $200 and $2,500 for the cost of restoring and polishing floors.

Terrazzo flooring is eco-friendly because it is crafted using recycled materials such as glass, marble, and polished metal, and its epoxy binder emits no VOCs once cured. This sustainable manufacturing approach minimizes waste and supports green building practices. Homeowners gain an attractive flooring option, contributing to healthier indoor air quality and environmental conservation.
