The Rodgers Decor people were very helpful in the selection of the material, and the installation was well done. They did have to come back to fix a few things, including the shoe guard below the dish washer, but they did that promptly. There was also some confusion over the billing since we paid for part of the installation ourselves (for an upgrade to what the insurance would cover and to get the flooring in our utility room), and the Rodgers Decor people helped get it resolved and wrote a letter of clarification. They did point out the flooring we bought was especially soft, which we wanted, and it wouldn't be as durable, and we have found it to be easy to damage, but they did forewarn us. She spent time with us in the showroom, offered to have us view additional carpet choices at another location, measured for installation of hardwood, carpet, and vinyl. She followed up a few times during our decision phase, including answering additional questions and revising the scope of work. The primary reason we did not choose The Flooring Gallery was the need to sub out the hardwood finishing. If we had selected one of their pre-finished products, everything would have been done in-house and we would have had no reservations about hiring them. Since we were trying to match existing hardwood with a combination of finish and refinish work, we were concerned about having separate installers and finishers. We will be shopping with them with our next project that does not involve finish-in-place hardwood. <br />"
