"I initially contracted Jeremy to take care of a house centipede invasion I was fighting. He took care of that, but due to his thorough examination, also discovered a giant ant mound behind my shower wall (my former pesticide provider did not recognize this as an issue - or totally ignored it). He is wonderful...explained everything to me, and took care of the ant issue. Subsequently, he also discovered I have some serious termite damage, so we are taking care of that also. I highly recommend Jeremy to anyone fighting pests!"

"I had some type of animal in my subfloor that was most active during the day. I already had my house excluded, but was still hearing the noise 2 years later. The other pest control guys tried to have me purchase product that I didn t need. I liked that he was willing to take it step by step and when it wasn t what he thought he was willing to tell me, instead of pretend that the problem was fixed."

"Lawrence came when he said he was. He did a phenomenal job. He went above and beyond. He set thr traps for what I thought was a opossum and it turned out to be a couple of racoons. The first night we caught the racoon outside. I called him the next morning in a complete panic. He assured me that animal couldn't get out of the cage . From my tone he could tell I was afraid , he returned in the rain at night to remove the animal. The very next day, we caught another and again he deliverer. He was knowledgeable about the job he performed. He gave me recommendations of the next steps I needed to take. I truly appreciated the level of service and I would recommend him to any and everyone. He is my ho to pest control. Love the service, level of commitment, the honesty and level of professionalism he showed. Thanks Lawrence"

"We had THE BEST experience using Ninja Wildlife Control! We had a serious wasp issue to the point that wasps were coming into our kids bathroom, and they came, thoroughly inspected the home inside and out, identified the problem area, and not only removed the wasp nest that was leading to the bathroom, but also blocked off the area with special netting so we wouldn't have that problem again! I 100% recommend this company to anyone who is looking for any pest/wildlife control! 👌"

"When our landscaper said we had a bee problem after they were stung, we called in the experts at Critter Control. Roger and another tech arrived early for our appointment and went to examine the area after we provided them the information we had. Well---there was no bee nest found, nor any signs of bees in or around the utility boxes within the landscaped area. We are so grateful that Critter Control is upfront and honest. They gave us helpful information on signs to look for but didn't even charge us for their inspection service call. Now this is amazing customer service! Thanks Critter Control!"

FAQs for bird and bat pest control service projects in Richmond, TX

You're likely to find nesting birds in external areas such as your gutters, eaves, porches, and chimneys. Some birds also nest in less obvious spots, like attics or even in your ventilation systems if they gain access. A reputable pro will conduct an inspection before starting any work to check for evidence of where birds may have set up roosting or nesting sites in your home.

Leaving birds to roost and nest on your home creates significant risks that affect both your home's structure and your well-being. The constant droppings, aggressive swooping, and persistent noise can damage siding, allow moisture intrusion, and stain exterior finishes. In addition, the birds’ pecking and droppings can spread diseases and parasites, which can lead to escalating repair costs and health hazards.

Yes, humane removal is possible and ensures that birds remain unharmed during the extraction process. Experts use proven methods to safely capture and relocate both birds and their nests to secure environments. Professionals employ stainless steel spikes as a deterrent while avoiding harmful techniques such as poisons or glue traps. You can rely on trusted specialists who strictly use safe, noninjurious methods, thereby protecting the birds while resolving the nuisance.

Yes, there are legal considerations when removing birds and their nests. You must adhere to strict local and state regulations, which safeguard protected native species during nesting season. Special authorization is required to remove protected birds, their nests, or eggs under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Observing these legal mandates avoids violations and ensures safe, responsible removal.

To prevent birds from returning after nest removal, you can implement deterrent methods. Installing stainless steel spikes creates a secure barrier that prevents birds from roosting without causing injury. In contrast, loose nets may entangle birds and other wildlife, creating additional hazards. A trusted professional will choose and install the optimal method to keep your home bird-free.

A bird’s nest remains viable for a period that depends on the species. The construction phase concludes within 2 days to 3 weeks, followed by a rearing stage lasting 2 to 10 weeks. Most birds become fully independent within 2 to 6 weeks, while certain predatory species require up to 2 1/2 months. This timeline can guide you on when it's safe to intervene.
