"I had a large house that had been ransacked by family members and left in terrible shape. There were also two garages that had to be emptied and left broom clean for the new owner. I lived several hours out of town and needed someone I could depend on to take care of this large job for me. Mr. Charles was wonderful to work with. He went above and beyond the job I hired him to do. He stayed in touch with me, since I live out of state. He sent pictures of before and after he had cleaned out each room and area. He even went back the day after he had finished, to vacuum the rooms. I would highly recommend him. He is polite and professional, and his rates are very reasonable. I had a whole house full of furniture and junk and he managed to do the job right and in a very short time frame. I appreciated so much the fine work he did for me. He is a kind gentleman who takes pride in his work. You will be glad you hired him 222222222222222222222222222222 22 0000000"

Small jobs welcome

"Juan and his crew did an amazing job! From start to finish I had no problems! Juan was professional, on time, honest, and extremely knowledgeable! Juan helped with great suggestions after describing my idea to him during the free estimate. He communicated when the rain storms kept delaying my project and didn't try to start the job knowing a bad storm was on the way. He cares more about the final outcome than just getting the job done. Juan and his crew are meticulous! They paid attention to every detail. He pitched my driveway just right! No more puddles and I absolutely love the final outcome! I will definitely use JM Concrete LLC for another project and highly recommend them!"

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Richmond, VA

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
