"This review should probably be three separate reviews, but I think it shows my trust in Vernon using him multiple times. He came out to give me a quote on a new gas water heater and relocating it about 8 feet over in the basement. The price was reasonable and he provided me the water heater information so I could see it's reviews beforehand. While installing my water heater, my tenant called and said the AC was not working. So, after completing the install and his other stops that day, Vernon went over later that day to take a look. The repair required a new part, so a few days later he repaired the AC and I had him replace a leaking pressure valve while he was there. About a month later, a house I renovated needed some repair work on a leaky drain before settlement (he was not the initial installer). Vernon went into that crawlspace and repaired the pipe and provided the appropriate documentation so we could get to settlement in time. I had Hamilton Plumbing and HVAC do work at my home, my rental, and then my house flip. I plan to have Vernon come back to run a gas line when I install a gas fireplace and again when I do my basement bathroom."

"The pressure tank kept losing pressure and the well pump was cycling on and off every hour to hour and a half. Water on the ground indicated that the pitless valve was bad. I had talked with the owner of Atlantic Blue a few days prior to the crew arriving and was immediately impressed his sight unseen diagnosis of the problem and assurance that I would be happy with their work. The crew that was sent was fantastic. They immediately hand dug down to the valve, verified that the valve was the problem and set about replacing it. Since I have a shallow well they offered to pull the well pump and inspect the condition of the pump and the connecting wires especially since it had been cycling so much adding wear and tear to the pump. I was present when they pulled it and I noticed quite a bit of corrosion. The pump was 15 - 18 years old so I asked them to replace it. They told me that by doing it now I would save the normal pulling fee which would be charged if I did it at a later time and would only have to pay for the new pump. That saved approximately $400 on what would have been a future well pump replacement. The crew was very personable, friendly and always interested in answering any questions I had. One thing I noticed and did not expect or for that matter even thought about was how they would put clean boot covers over their work boots before coming into my basement garage when coming in to work at the well pressure tank and switch in the basement. Very nice touch and shows a real respect to the customer and their property. I have used other companies in the past for various well needs and believe that I have found a company that I will always turn to not only for my well needs but for any major plumbing and water treatment needs. I highly recommend Atlantic Blue to anyone needing the services they provide."

"I got a frantic call from my housemate this past Sunday that the basement was flooded. I immediately knew that my 18 year-old water heater had finally given out. Knowing that we could live without hot water for at least a day, I contacted a few plumbers Monday morning based on their Angie's List reviews. While all were pleasant, I felt that Rob went out of his way to be useful. When I asked him for estimates on him providing the water heater vs. me purchasing one on and him installing, he (like others) was adamant that what he provided (A.O. Smith) was far superior to those that could be purchased at Lowe's. As he explained it, this is covered for complete replacement for 6 years no questions asked, while the brands big box stores sell require you to drain, seal, redrain, etc.over the course of weeks before they even consider replacing the water heater. A.O.Smith stands behind their product and, more importantly, trusts the judgement of a plumber that something is wrong.
I called Glenoak at 9:30a, and they had two technicians out to my house by 12:45p. They were out the door by 2:30p and the hot water was flowing by 3:30p. They hauled the old water heater away and cleaned up any mess. It was awesome. 
My only complaint is that the provided model is on the very high end of the energy guide scale compared to the big box models. In the end, it's only gonna cost me about $60 more per month. Moreover, technology today is WAY more advanced than that of 18 years ago, so I'm still doing good for the environment while also saving money. In the least, this model has foam internally, meaning i don't have to wrap it in a fiberglass blanket.
