"I called Custom Pull Out Shelves to have them quote me on custom pull outs. My intention was to have our kitchen cabinets painted and add new pull outs. After meeting and talking with Tom I ruled out having the cabinets painted and started seriously looking into having them refaced. I searched Angie's list for three companies that refaced cabinets and setup interviews with all three. Tom from Custom Pull Outs was by far the most knowledgeable and professional. I felt no pressure to sign a contact or commit to anything at any time. "We had an amazing experience working with Macaulay at Counter Edge! He is friendly, professional, detail-oriented and accommodating. Our original kitchen was in great shape, but the finishes were simply not our taste. It was very yellow and traditional, but we wanted white and modern. Macaulay swapped out our cabinet doors, and also put us in contact with a great company to change the countertops. It looks like a totally brand new kitchen! But it cost a fraction of the price. We originally intended to work with a traditional contractor who's done a lot of work for our family. When we mentioned wanting to "reface" the kitchen by changing the doors, he laughed at us and told us to "come back when we had $30,000 to spend to do a kitchen reno right." Shame on him. "I love my new kitchen! It's been a year and my kitchen still looks brand new. Kitchen Tune Up had great options for refacing the cabinets. I choose 2 different materials for my kitchen. I had the furr down and some of the walls done in a different color and texture material. The furr down is the area between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling. The whole job was really well done and exceeded my expectations. Excellent workmanship and outcome. I could have cooked during the refacing process if needed. I feel the price was reasonable. I was kept informed of when the worker would be there and he arrived on time when expected. The work was completed in a timely fashion. My old drawers were totally replaced with new ones. I love the pull out shelf options for my pantries and the soft close doors on the doors and drawers. The refacing material is easy to clean and maintain with water & a microfiber cloth. In my pictures note the faced shelving area and new door underneath in my dinning area. Two doors where changed to 2 large drawers - no more crawling into a bottom cabinet to get things out. If interested, Kitchen Tune Up had options for countertops, and undercabinet lighting. I highly recommend Kitchen Tune Up!"
