"Sales and installation went fine. We ran into some problems with rotted fascia boards and soffits 2 years later. Called them to get an estimate on repairs. Jeff came out to look at what needed to be done and told us he would get back that week with an estimate. Never heard back from him. Called him and he said that Tim would be out in a few days to look at what needed to be done. Tim didn't show up on the days that Jeff said he would. Called Jeff again and he said that they were so busy that he was having difficulty with Tim's schedule. Told them that we would prefer to have them do the work as they installed the gutters which may have to be adjusted with the fascia replacement. He said he understood. Didn't hear back from them and gave up. Hired another contractor. Tim showed up unexpectedly while the contractor was here doing the work.
Then, we discovered that there were some problems with leaking gutters on the inside corners and, when combined with a roof issue on the same inside corners, was what had probably caused the rotting of the fascia and soffits. We contacted Jeff again to ask them to come out to take a look at the gutters and to help us solve the problem. Never heard back from them.
The issue with the gutters is that one of the inside corners had a hole in the back which the installer had tried to fill with gutter sealant. There was a hole in the gutter sealant that allowed water to go through the back of the gutter and drain into the soffit area and into a window. It looked like one of the gutters had been cut incorrectly where the two gutter lines met on the inside corner. Another of the inside corners had a piece of small piece of metal lying under the shingles and across the area where the water would run down the roof into the opening in the leaf shield. The metal had not been sealed into place and was not large enough to fit completely under the inside corner of the shingles so water was getting under the shingles and down into the fascia and structure.
They are good at making the sale and installation. Not very good with helping customers afterwards.

"The agent who did the initial estimates was very punctual, knowledgable  and professional, providing different options and associated costs. The prices were very reasonable. In particular, the company had a coupon from Entergy (my electrical energy provider), so my cost was approximately $240 less than it would have been. The men who came to install the installation were also punctual and professional, did fast, efficient work and cleaned up after themselves - nicely done! The men who came another time to install the new gutters also were relatively quick and efficient. However, I did specifically ask that they ensure all the materials were removed from the backyard as we had a dog. Nevertheless, the men not only did not close the backyard gate when they left, but also left behind several small pieces of metal in the yard, including several-inches-long spikes. They also did not connect one of the drain hoses high enough on the down spouts, so i am concerned about flooding in that area (unfortunately, i did not check on this before they left). Despite these few issues, overall I would recommend this company to others and plan to use them again to add covers to the gutters.

"Daniel Mitchell gained my confidence from our first meeting. I talked with several roofing contractors, they all asked 4-5 questions and had an estimate ready in about 15 minutes. He spent over an hour with me, asked dozens of questions and offered a lot of advice and options. His estimate was not the cheapest, but definitely on the lower side. It was also the most detailed, listing types and prices of all necessary materials, right down to the cost of the nails.
I needed extensive repairs on a back porch roof and had several other areas that needed smaller repairs, along with 3 layers of shingles to be removed. At the end of each day my yard was clean. He went above and beyond expectations to make my roof look great, right down to painting exhaust vents to match my new roof color. His company does much more than roofing, including windows, siding, and additions. I will be calling him in the future to do siding on my home.

"They quoted a price over the phone and then increased the charge when they got to the house. They said the increased charge was due to the fact that they considered our crawl space a second level to our home. The price they quoted was for a single story house, which is what our house is. Our crawl space is the height of a level of the house in the back of the house where they were working, so we agreed to pay the higher amount. Just wish we'd known to expect that.
They cleaned the gutters just fine, I suppose. But several months later all of the water is running out of one corner of the gutter. We have guards on our gutters, and that has not been an issue in the seven years or so we've owned the house. We called PI roofing back to tell us if the gutters/downspouts are clogged again or if the gutters are unbalanced. They said they are clogged again and they offered to sell us GutterGuards for $600. Maybe they did everything right and it's just natural that our gutters are clogged again, but I'm just not sure. In the future, we might consider using PI Roofing again, but I think I'd want to look around a little more before.

FAQs for gutters & downspouts cleaning service projects in Rison, AR

You’ll want to clean gutters once or twice a year—in early spring and again in fall—to keep water flowing and avoid pricey leaks. Homes tucked beneath tall trees or hit with heavy debris may need two to four visits instead. Staying on schedule protects your roof, siding, and foundation from costly water damage.

Even with gutter guards, plan on an occasional cleaning—just not as often as homes without guards. Installing gutter guards blocks leaves, but grit and shingle granules still slip through and pile up over time. A quick sweep keeps water moving and stops overflow that can damage your roof or foundation.

Watch for overflowing water, slow or silent downspouts, sagging sections, or debris peeking over the gutter edge. You might also spot water stains, weeds, or an increasing number of ants in certain areas. Any of these red flags means it’s time to call a gutter cleaning pro for service before minor clogs turn into major leaks.

Skip cleanings for too long and gutters overflow, sending water under shingles, down siding, and toward the foundation. The result can be mold, rotted fascia, basement leaks, and repair bills that dwarf the price of a quick cleaning. It can also mean that future cleanings will be more expensive as it will take pros longer to deep clean gutters that are full of heavy debris. Staying on schedule saves money and headaches.

Plan on gutter cleaning service to take an average of one hour for an average single-story home and two to three hours for taller houses. Add extra time if gutter guards need to come off or clogs are packed in. Pros work methodically, clearing every linear foot so water can flow freely again.
