"Home Genius Exteriors is amazing! I have been impressed throughout the whole process with their high level of professionalism and depth of expertise. Every person I have met throughout my project has been a dream! I honestly believe they care as much about my home and doing what is best for me and my family as I do. I highly recommend! Long story about my incredible experience so far below: Our roof and siding were older, losing grit and fading, and we had lost some shingles in a storm. After having another company out that was okay/average, I did some research and read a ton of reviews. Home Genius Exteriors really stood out from the rest, so we decided to setup an appointment. Our Home Remodeling Expert was named John and he was the best! He did a complete and thorough inspection of our home inside and out (including using a drone). He even went up into our attic mid-summer to see what was going on under the roof. He then took us though all of the photos and videos and explained what was happening. He also listened to what we were hoping to improve. He provided multiple options and recommendations and answered all of our questions and concerns. Next thing I knew we were creating models of our actual home and toggling between different colors, styles, materials, etc. John was extremely patient as it took a while for us to get it dialed in just right. He wrote up our project, helped to find some discounts and areas we could save money to stay within our budget without compromising the end result we were now in love with. We decided to get a roof, siding, windows, patio door, and gutter replacement to completely makeover and modernize our home. The next day we were contacted by our Home Genius project coordinators Tiffany and Beth to schedule our roof install and to have a technician out to remeasure and confirm our windows/patio door order. I figured it would be a while to get on the schedule...They blew me away. Measurement appointment tomorrow and roof install the next day! Our measurement technician was named Frank and he arrived on time, took off his shoes without being asked (love that), and his attention to detail was impeccable. He even went as far as to reconfirm our order and to walk us through what to expect with the windows and patio door install. That afternoon Brandon, our Home Genius Project Manager for the roof install, called to introduce himself and provide a detailed timeline for the day of the install and to see if we had any questions. He also informed us when the dumpster and materials would arrive that evening. The next morning Brandon and the roofing installation crew showed up at 7:00 and began prepping our home, including hanging tarps from the roof to protect our landscaping and even moving all of our deck & patio furniture out into the yard for protection. Then the work really started - the crew was incredibly fast and efficient! They had all of the old roof off in less than 3hrs. By lunch they were done laying the new underlayment and starting to put on shingles. They worked non-stop. The roof was finished by 8:00 and what I really appreciate, is they spent almost an hour cleaning up the jobsite and even using magnets to make sure no nails were left behind in the grass or landscaping. Brandon was terrific throughout the project. He provided detailed explanations of what was happening, provided updates on timing and progress, answered all of our questions, and made sure that the installation was perfect. He even came by the next day to do a second final walkthrough to make sure nothing was missed since it was getting dark the night before. Roof looks amazing and we could not be happier! Can not wait for the next stages of our home transformation!"

"I REALLY liked the salesperson that we bought it from. HE was excellent. When there was a glitch with our siding order, he came back out to check things out. HOWEVER, the guy who put up our siding was not real particular. He cut off our gutters when they were to be removed and re-hung. I AM pleased that the company replaced them without any hassle. The siding was over hanging the gables. It wasn't until we said something that he fixed it. That was the overall problem. Unless we caught a problem, it would have remained. While it might be our house itself, the siding installment is not what I'd consider "A". I don't think that I should be the one pointing out mistakes and getting them fixed. I think that they should have just been fixed. I'm glad that the guy was nice. But the end result was not installed like we had pictured."

He was fair and honest as advertised and I know I got the best job for the best price. It was a pleasure doing business with this company."

"I can't speak more highly of my experience with HCI and Alvin Ashley in particular. Being a military veteran I felt an immediate camaraderie with Alvin who himself is a veteran. As part of quoting the job he walked my wife and I through the entire process start to finish. He covered in detail what would happen at every step of the process including what materials would be used and why they were the right choice. Though he quotes jobs now, his experience as a roofer clearly showed as he easily fielded the dozen or so questions that I had. I live in a historic home in Farmington. Around town it is commonly referred to as the “Lone Ranger House” as Earle Graser (the radio show Lone Ranger) lived in it during the 1930s. It was clear to me after spending some time with Alvin that he appreciated the historical significance of my home and was committed to ensuring it's preservation. Being an engineer and having some roofing experience in my past I already had a detailed cost breakdown completed when Alvin arrived to quote the job. Alvin did not employ any of the normal salesmen BS like starting at twice the real price or pretending to call his boss to bring the price down. His starting number was extremely reasonable and very close to my estimate. After some very brief negotiations I singed a contract to have the work done that very evening. I have several out buildings on my property and have every intention of calling Alvin back when it is time to replace those roofs."

"The office staff are very nice and did a great job with scheduling our project. The painters were professional, on time, and did a great job. We had a couple of spots that needed to be repainted and they literally were out within a day or two to take care of the issues.  We referred them to my in-laws and some friends and they were completely happy with the service.  We will have them come back out again when we need some other rooms painted.  I highly recommend them!

"Bryan went over the possible designs for the addition to our existing home.? He helped us make a decision on?what we wanted our kitchen to look like.? He helped us choose the type of cabinets and countertops, lighting, siding and brick work?we wanted to use.? He discussed with us in detail how the addition would be added to our home.? During construction they protected the home from construction dust with plastic covering.? He provided us with a detailed schedule.?The addition turned out?just as?we hoped it would.? We enjoy entertaining our family and friends during the holidays in our kitchen and dining room.?His company kept the schedule as well the workers?were courteous and?reliable.? "Our home had a simple upper level walk-out deck that essentially had room for a grill and small two person table. We were looking to expand the size of the upper level and also put a lower level in and attach the two with a winding staircase. Since I am no fan of maintaining a deck, we decided to go with Trex. Via a friend's referral, I called HDF and spoke with owner Dale. After going over what I was looking for he came by to review everything and asked to give him a day or two to jot some ideas down of other options I could consider for such a big project. When we spoke again, since our back yard faced woods and was going to be used for entertaining he suggested topping the rails with solar powered light posts. Since the upper level covered a portion of the lower deck he suggested he put in a ceiling type contraption that would trap the water and drain it out the side. The work crew was at the house every single day, including the weekend until the job was done. Seeing it go from nothing (once the old deck was removed) to what you see in the picture was pretty amazing. From our neighbors to friends and relatives do nothing but rave about the deck. It is an amazing place to entertain or just kick back with the wife and relax."
