"I purchased this condo that was built in 1974. I'm single and have never hired anyone to do this type of work. I found Rudy through Home Advisor. Rudy and his crew really had their work cut out for them. They removed wallpaper in every room and closets, popcorn from the ceiling and painted the complete inside of the condo and garage.. Rudy and the crew are very personable and cleaned up at the end of each day. They even had to stop for a week because I had to have a plumber do some work before Rudy could complete my job. I knew I would have to wait before Rudy came to finish my painting. My wait time was a couple of days. He was spot on in regards to the time to complete the job. I honestly cannot say enough about Rudy and his crew they did a superb job.."

"My bathroom toilet wasnâ t holding water and making a loud noise. It would take hours to fill and became such a pain for me and my kids waiting for the bowl to fill. After calling AYS Steven came and immediately went to it replacing the bowl accessories. Now the bowl fills and thereâ s no more leaking noise. He was very polite and left everything exactly as I had it. Very satisfied customer. Definitely recommending them."

I left him a key to the property and his crew completed the work professionally timley and cleaned up before they left. What more could I ask for! Very happy with the work ethic, I highly recommend them."

"Eric was friendly and professional. He ran the auger three times and identified that the problem originated with the city sewer system. Excellent service for a great price. I would definitely use E.C. Plumbing again."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
