"Recently hired them to do a major landscaping project. If i was rating them strictly on their quality of work I would give them a 5. My reasons for the 3.5 customer service rating is simple. Poor Communications.. Poor communications before the job, poor communications during the job, and no follow up communication after the job. Not so much as a follow up call to see how things were going, how to care for the newly planted items. not even a post installation "How did we do survey", nothing. The invoice they sent had tons of errors which we had to ask them to correct before we paid the bill. They did excellent work and we love the results!. However, don't depend on them to keep you apprised of what their plans are."

They worked around my crazy schedule, were extremely polite, respectful, and courteous throughout the initial consult all the way through the removal and clean up, and saved me money! "I had brush and several trees to remove on a Jackson, MI property owned by my brother in law to prep it for sale. I contacted Lake State Landscaping and they set up a date/time to meet and go over the property site to determine what I wanted done. These guys are good…they scheduled a date/time and cost to have this project done. They got it done when they said it would be done, done professionally and hauled off the debris. They also gave me a military/Veteran discount. I would hire them again without question!"

"We have a large silver maple tree in our yard that had branches protruding over power lines, the house roof, and into our neighbors yard.  It took some time to respond to our request to schedule the work.  This may have been due to emergency jobs as a result of storms in the area.  They trimmed back the larger branches I envisioned needing trimming and also a number of small ones based on their expertise.  They also trimmed a large Rose of Sharon bush as a bomus.  Curtis and Brian were very thorough and professional in their work."
