"Bathroom was seriously outdated, by about 50 years, in a 90-year old house. Project included new fixtures, tiling, and plumbing and heating repairs. Came out great. There were numerous other fixes and repairs needed in the rest of house--electrical, plumbing, heating, appliance installation, which were often difficult because of retrofitting an old house, tight spaces, and hodge podge of modifications over the years. Contractor did great work and was a good trouble shooter and problem solver for an older and challenging house. Willing to work with me so I purchase materials when I preferred to do that. Showed up on time, worked hard, did more than expected, and got the job(s) done!"

"Nathan was our hero. Right before the Labor Day weekend, the plumbing backed up and we knew we had a clog somewhere. He came out the same day I called, determined where the clog was, and went to work. He snaked the line to the street and found that the line was not clogged but broken. This was a whole new mess, but he got us started on the right path. He also explain some issues with the plumbing inside the house, and explained what we would want to do to correct them. Andrew & Dominick also came in on day one and cleaned the air ducts which we thought would be a messy process, but they minimized dust and even the noise that accompanies their equipment allowing both my wife and myself to work from home with zero interruptions as they all worked in the basement and throughout the house. In all the job was very well done. The new furnace and new A/C both work great and look great. We decided to use Grogg’s for our HVAC replacement based on some "word of mouth" advice from several colleagues at work. The two men, Daniel and Dominick, explained what was going to be done and were professional the entire day. The concrete slab was leveled with the front porch and looked as good as new. "It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."

He identified another small problem, though, and fixed that. He figured out all the issues with the toilet and took care of them quickly. "I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"Home and changes are fine, but footer leaks and had to install sump pump and dehumidifier with full encap in crawl space. Also, builder didn’t use full dimensional lumber, but used ijoists without fire protection. Carried plastic gas line through the crawl space wall. Used 5x5 wooden piers to hold up my home instead of building block piers. Had to install jack posts to cover for this."
