"I Know It When I See It!! Years ago, I sat in a meeting room amongst a group of executives to talk about the business of the day. On this day, however, something was different. When we went to sit down, we each found a book in front of our seats, 'I Know It When I See It'. The book was probably 35 to 40 pages long and written on thick, easy-to-tear paper like you find in coloring books. The print was larger than usual and the words were elementary enough for a young kid to be able to read and understand. While others were meeting and greeting, I took the time to quickly read the book cover to cover. It was about QUALITY and how almost every business will tell you that they deliver the highest levels of quality without giving any credit to the customers who with their own judgment and eyes who truly define quality when they see and experience it. "Many of the homes in our neighborhood are about that age when the builder installed roof needs replaced. We had been considering contacting someone about a new roof on our 20-year-old home and I really wanted to consider a higher quality option because I had heard from a neighbor about a 50-year roof. A Home Pro representative stopped by our home and I liked what I heard about their roofing system and set up a meeting. The company representative was friendly and described the GAF system they used in great detail and we were convinced this was the right system for us because it matched the quality and 50-year warranty I was looking for. I was expecting a steep price but I found the complete price in our budget. We were also pleased with the speed and accuracy of the planning as well as being given access to the software they use to create measurements and visualize the home. Given that we set this up to be done in March I was expecting at least a few weeks delay but Home Pro got the work scheduled on the first clear days. We love our house with all of gabling and trimwork and we thought it might be a complicated job, but it was completed by their installation team quickly in two days with no leftover mess or disruptions.
