"We needed roof repair, location and repair of leaks in a rooftop deck, and the installation of many cabinets, both base and wall-mounted. Our first contact with Doug Coons was about locating the sources of multiple leaks in a rooftop deck that had been an issue for the entire eight years since we’d built an addition to our home. We’d had at least three other contractors out to look at it and selected one to do the repairs. We invested thousands of dollars into that repair and to replace the ceiling and drywall damaged by the leaks. That “repair” did NOT take care of the problem; the leaking persisted, and all of the money we’d spent was wasted. When I called Doug Coons, he answered his phone on the first ring. He came out within two days and gave us a quote on the spot. I think this was a Wednesday. We discussed the timeline for the job, and I jokingly said, “Well, unless you can have it done before Saturday afternoon, it’ll have to be next week. We’re having a graduation party here Saturday.” To my surprise, Doug said if we needed it done by Saturday, they’d get it done. And they DID. His roofing crew was phenomenal, especially the crew chief. It was obvious from the minute he viewed the interior damage and then walked the deck and roof that he knew exactly what the problems were and how to fix them. He explained very clearly what was going on, why, and what needed to be done. They got to work and were finished and cleaned up and out of there well ahead of the party. We’ve had no issues with leaks since. The next time I called, Doug answered his phone on the first ring. (I’ve since found out that this is standard for him—something which is completely outside of my experience and really appreciated.) We’d participated in an auction to benefit a local animal rescue organization and bought thousands of dollars’ worth of floor model cabinets. They came “as is,” with some damage, and without installation instructions. He and his crew did an outstanding job of configuring, repairing and installing them. Their attention to detail and how particular they are about quality work is really commendable. We’ve already lined up two more jobs with them—drywall, flooring, wainscoting, waterproofing, and more cabinet installation, and I have every confidence that this work will be performed to the same high standards as the work done so far. It’s great to have a contractor who really DOES “do it all,” and I’m so glad I’ll never have to search for and “vet” a contractor ever again. Finally, my husband and I think his quotes are quite reasonable, especially given the high quality of workmanship."

"I cannot say enough good things about DeRisio. These guys are great. They completed a large renovation project in a very short time period (less than two weeks). The project included removing a load bearing wall, reframing interior walls, installing hardwood floors, refinishing existing floors, installing carpet, running cabling through walls, etc. They were punctual, friendly, and cleaned up every day. "This is our Second Concrete Patio that Mario created for us, due to the fact that the first patio did not turn out as well as we had hoped it would.  Mario new were not pleased with how the patio turned out, and he was very concerned with doing a good job for us, so after talking things over with him, we all decided to pour another patio near the previous one, but no changes were made to the first patio.  After several rain delays the second patio was created and looks really good.  It meets all our needs and expectations.  We were very impressed with Mario's' willingness to complete a second patio for us after the first one did not satisfy our needs. I would also like to add that delays are part of the contracting business please be patient and know that your contractor is doing the best he can to get the job done as quickly as possible for you.  Mario was very considerate, and polite throughout the job, he called us often and made sure we knew what was causing the delays. We are very happy with the 2nd patio. Mario did a wonderful job and we hope to see him next year to install concrete sidewalks around our home.  Thank you Mario, this was a job well done, and I know we will enjoy many summer parties on that patio, with all our friends and family."
