Provided services promptly.  Fertilizing produced greener thicker grass where there already was some grass.  Overseed, however, was not effective on the bare areas, due to lack of soil prep.  Core aeration alone was not adequate soil prep for overseeding on Hard bare ground and areas covered in dead grass.  I got better results when I followed up with some soil loosening and seeding myself.  This should have been obvious to a professional and included in plan and pricing. Granted I have a challenging lawn site, so it needed a more complete plan. <br /> Overseeding was done too late in year, immediately before heavy acorn and leaf fall, which further undermined new grass growth.  I suggested an earlier, even Spring seeding and agent dismissed the suggestion because of weed growth in summer.  Better to have some grass growth mixed with weeds, than no grass growth at all. <br />"

"The tree was taken down. Some trimming was done to the two trees included in the quote. The work was good but the price for the work done was significantly higher than other service providers in the area. I would like to use them more in the future but the price/work produced ration seems much higher than other tree services. If you do have a large tree to take down though they are the only ones in the area that have a large, high capacity boom crane capable of working on the 80 foot trees. Especially those trees that are located in difficult to access areas of your property. You will see in the review that I said that we would use the provider in the future. That is because of the equipment they have but definitely not the price structure they use to estimate. Having them do trimming work is just not economically justified. Removing smaller trees is also not something that I would hire them for. Large tree removal or trimming work on very large trees (60 - 80 feet in height) is clearly their sweet spot of service. <br />"

"I could not be happier with my choice. Shawn was professional, friendly, and knowlegable from first contact. He was not the cheapest nor the most expensive estimate I received to complete the work. His quote included more than the cheaper and more expensive estimates I had received. Once hired he began immediately and removed the trees from the house in the first day. It took a little time to complete the job but his concern was the ruin of a lawn in pristine condition. He waited for the ground to dry before starting the portion of the work that required heavy equipment. The lot is also on a very steep downward angle . I feel that he completed the job in a timely manner considering that the weather continued to work against him. Upon finishing he left the property in excellent condition. He removed the 7 foot diameter root ball as well so one would never know the wreck it all had been . The only tell tale sign is where he graded, seeded, and fertilized the portion on the yard where the trees had fallen and gouged the ground."
