"I called John as one of 8 roofing companies to get an estimate on a new roof after the big wind storm. He was the only one that actually came out and didn’t try and tell me all the things that needed to be replaced that actually didn’t. From the start John was always honest with me, no trying to up sell. I even told him some of the things his competitors were saying about needing new plywood and a certain kind of shingles due to a new city code (which when I called the city with the phone number John provided) turned out to be a straight up lie. The whole process took a little over a week (they even worked weekends which I didn’t expect). It’s a small crew, but they know what they are doing. I am very happy with the results. I only found around 10 nails around the house, which judging off other people I know who went with other roofers, is pretty amazing. Very good clean up. Price was great. I highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them when siding and windows become available from them again."

"This was a small job to remove existing and install new siding on one second-story exterior wall above an attached garage. James, the person who arrived at my home to initially measure and quote the job was pleasant and not too sales-y. He claimed that the company could complete the job sooner than others in the area by a couple weeks. This was the first quote I obtained and an incentive was offered if I accepted the quote and provided payment that day and pursued no other quotes. I was contacted by Matt after a few weeks from there forward regarding the job. Conversations with Matt were brief, to the point, and accurate, which was appreciated. He answered any questions I had. The delivery of materials occurred with no advance notice. Luckily someone was home to remove obstacles when the driver arrived. The delivery occurred nearly a week outside the quoted completion window, however. The crew arrived a couple days later, when Matt said they would. The replacement siding, trim, and weather sealing work appears to be of good quality. However, I found issues with the cleanup...specifically, debris left on the property. The workers used a leaf blower in an attempt to clean up the work area and blew detritus all over the driveway, porch, and front/back yard. From there, the larger pieces were picked up, but some construction debris 2" in diameter or less were left, with much of it blown into the grass. I also found nearly a dozen nails that were missed, with several in the driveway or around walkways. There were two brooms and a large trash cart accessible to aid with cleanup, so the choice to blow debris into the grass is confusing. Worse, I parked a vehicle away from the work area as suggested, but found shingle gravels, siding debris, and paint all over the rear half of it. Lastly, the a portion of the gutter is damaged (concave) where the workers' ladder was resting between gutter nails. I"d have rated five stars if not for the cleanup issues, minor gutter damage, and unannounced materials delivery. Recommended."

"John (Balsomroot Exteriors owner) and his crew were the most professional. We were experiencing extremely high electricity bills so new vinyl siding was needed. Not only was the curb appeal raised because of the new vinyl but we can say that the electricity bill was halved. We cannot be happier with the result and experience we had with Balsamroot Exteriors. I will always recommend Balsamroot Exteriors to our friends and family. Please reach out to John and Balsamroot Exteriors to get a quote and see how much he can save you compared to the bigger companies. The attention to detail and great communication was also a great benefit to our experience."

"I wanted to receive quotes for a siding project from several companies and debella debt out Blake & Brady for the initial quote. They were very friendly and professional and unlike other companies respected the fact I wanted to do this in February. They were very supportive and didn't try to pressure a same day sale. The actually spent over 5 hours at my home going over all the details and answering my questions. The found the right serv6fir me within my budget so I signed up now for them to start in February. They are one of only 2 actual certified james hardie color plus installers in idaho in I feel confident they will do a fantastic job."

"I actually worked for this company and was extremely happy with completion of jobs before staging had to begin. Everything was completed quickly and communication was extremely easy! I have also done consultations regarding previous projects, and they’ve always been a pleasure to work with. Hoping to do more business with them in the future."

"David and his Roofing Team (led by Luis, then later George), did a wonderful job repairing a large section of my roof. They quickly and expertly removed, then replaced a large section of roofing. Further, his team was extremely friendly and very attentive to my description of the issues and the concerns I had. The repaired section completely blends into the original section, and I am confident that after talking to them and observing their work, this section will last for years and years! Well done!"

""I had a gutter installation by Thomas Contracting. This has been the best contracting experience of my life. My phone contact with Michelle was terrific as she was able to answer all of my questions with patience, professionalism and understanding. Furthermore if there was something she wasn't sure of she would find out for certain before giving me an answer. As if this service wasn't already an A+ Michelle sent me a courteous, informative duo of gentlemen that I simply began to refer to as the Dynamic Duo. Professional, courteous, prompt, efficient cleaned up after themselves...... I will refer this team to ANYONE that ask. They are AAA+...Thank you so much, Thomas Contracting Team!! I wish I had gotten a few more business cards to pass out.""
