"Cascading Falls Inc. did an incredible job on our full backyard project! From the initial design to the irrigation, concrete, sod, and plants, their team handled everything with professionalism and attention to detail. They were great to work with throughout the entire process—always showing up on time and keeping us informed every step of the way. What really stood out was how they went above and beyond to make sure the project was completed on time and within budget. Our backyard has completely transformed, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Cascading Falls Inc. to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and dedicated landscaping company."

"They were able to come out the next day and take out the bark and put in the river rock. Took them 9 hours but they got the heavy work completed. Very grateful."

"We are so pleased DL Landscaping. Our front and backyard needed a lot of work after building an ADU. Team did a great job leveling yard, laying sod and laying pavers. The team paid attention to detail. Left yard spotless. Even fixed sprinklers. Time from estimate to job be completed less than 2 weeks. Would highly recommend! "

"Steven and Miguel removed 3, 37 year old shrubs from my front yard and did a wonderful job. Both worked so hard and did a beautiful job. Price was very reasonably priced. Both of them were so nice Took them 2 days instead of 1 day because one of the shrubs grew all around the landscape irrigation pipe they really had a tuff job on that one but handled it very well. "

"Brent is quite a salesman. He told me it was easier to just replace the existing system and would cost about the same. He just about talked me into the Netafim system but it wouldn't work for my garden. His original bid was pretty reasonable, about $2500.00. He told me it'd be easier and cost about the same to just replace the exist system, I added $1,500.00 worth of things to the original bid, and he talked me into some other stuff. He'd be nice while selling, but was often extremely rude, and while he did a good job on the valves, other stuff he ignored what I wanted and the new system is so bad I'd say he's incompetent. If you have a simple low-maintenance yard consisting mostly of shrubs that can be watered with netafim pipe, he'd be OK, but don't have him plant any plants or do a more complicated drip system. I've had to replant everything he planted because he blatantly ignored my direction to cut through circling roots and set the plant's base a little above the surrounding soil, which any landscaper should know anyway. He did give me estimates for each extra, and no one item seemed way out of line (though in retrospect I realize they were). The final bill was $8,870, Since I have to re-do much of the drip system and have had to replant all the plants, for my money, over and above what I had, I got 3 new sprinkler valves, a new controller that I didn't really need, an extra hose bibb, and an old sprinkler head replaced, and 1/2 inch tubing w/o any emitters for potting plants. I'm not sure how this happened - that's why I said he's a great salesman. It's like I went into a fugue state, and went very passive. The latter could have been because his rudeness was aggressive and kind of scary. I'm not real comfortable about giving him a negative review. I wish I'd never hired him and I never want to see him again."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Rocklin, CA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
