"In 2016, we hired American Deck to lay a flagstone patio, put up a new wooden fence, and build a small deck/staircase from the back of our house. They did a fantastic job, and we've been enjoying it ever since. After a few winters of freeze and thaw -- as well as misguided power washing on my part -- the polymeric sand that fills the joints between the flagstones required repair. I contacted Steve Schultze, our original project manager, to ask what could be done, and he had a crew out within a week to make the needed repair. The patio looks as good as new, and we look forward to enjoying it for years to come. I'd absolutely do business with them again, given how well they treat customers even after a project is done."

"I had a flagstone patio that was sinking and uneven due to subsidence. The company removed all the stones, rebuilt the base with a proper slope away from the house, and reinstalled the stones. The price was fair (I had some higher estimates and some lower) and the quality of work was excellent with a good attention to detail. I most appreciated that Lazaro offered a vision for a better patio. My original request was to just replace the stones the way they were, but he made recommendations on how to improve the patio (with the same amount of stones) that led to a much better final project."

"Lily and her crew did an amazing job re-landscaping our backyard. The previous homeowners had an unsightly mix of bushes and shrubs, a brick wall that cut into the usable yard space, and stone/rock work that didn’t match the brick patio. Lily and her team removed everything, fixed the area where the patio had been damaged by a neighboring tree, laid a new brick path matching the existing patio, and plant new ground cover in the yard. Lily listened to exactly what we talked envisioned and made it happen!! Our yard looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier. The price was also very reasonable and the work was done promptly. "I had an excellent experience with Abel and his team. When we hired this company, we wanted to solve some water issues (my backyard flooded constantly) and we wanted to have a nice place for the kids to play and to hang out. We cannot be happier with the results. This project involved (1) demolition of existing patio and retaining walls, (2) regrading, (3) a new retaining wall and (4) a new patio. As I said, their work was amazing, their prices are good/fair, and I would like to highlight three positive things about this company: (1) they started and finished on time (or close to), which I thought was impossible to find in a contractor. (2) They were very patient and flexible with my work. Given that this was a big project, we had to adjust our plan a couple of times, as we found new issues and understood the water problems better. (3) and definitively not least, this company takes customer satisfaction seriously. This project took place in August 2020, but Abel is still calling me (as of March 2021) to check that everything is working for me. In those phone calls, I have mentioned some details about the work (minor things that are expected in projects are big as mine), and Abel has not hesitated to send someone to fix those small things at no cost (he actually gave me mulch last time he came). This experience me me feel very confident about the quality of their work. In summary, I am very happy to recommend best landscape & construction. A high quality company with good prices that takes costumer satisfaction seriously."

"I have been meaning to share how wonderful XtraCare Landscaping is for some time. It was raining when I took photos, so I will update with photos from a sunny day when everything is dry (and a fresh coat of mulch is down). We cannot say enough good things about this company and their teams. Top Notch customer service and care. They are experts and professionals at every stage. They were extremely responsive and understanding whenever we had questions. This is our second time using XtraCare for a patio. We had a small flagstone patio installed at our previous home in Maryland. It was beautiful, and they guided us through each step, including going to the stone quarry to select the exact stone color, size & shape. We were extremely happy. We since moved to Northern Virginia, and after getting several quotes from local companies here, we were not feeling a comfort level for the design process and customer care with any of them, as we were spending a good amount of money on a much larger patio, this was a big deal. We were not sure if XtraCare would come to Virginia, but since we had such a great experience, we gave them a call and were thrilled to be able to work with them again! We instantly felt comfortable with the process, and knew we would have a beautiful patio, that would last. They guided us through each step with patience, attention to detail and understood the vision we had for our outdoor living space. We wanted a mixture of textures and ability to have different zones of functionality, including an area for trash storage and deck boxes tucked away, as well as a fire pit and pathways. We are beyond in love with our new outdoor space, and look forward to making many memories entertaining and enjoying it with family and friends. I will add that my parents used them for a small stone landing and some stone retaining walls around their trees and garden beds, and also had a wonderful experience. "I was very happy with the flagstone patio work performed by Pro Landscapes. Several other companies recommended ripping out the existing patio entirely and replacing it with concrete pavers that are easier (than natural stone) to install. Pro Landscapes was able to maintain the existing base and curvature of the old patio and install new flagstones. They also installed an extension. Would definitely recommend."
