"We got to spend about a month with these guys as they removed 2 decks and a brick walk and built us a new front walk and patio and back deck. It ended up being a longer time than anticipated as we added things for them to do when we saw the quality of the work as it was in progress. One of the perks of retirement was being able to sit and watch the whole tearing down / building up process. The attention to detail was outstanding from the job site manager to the fellows prepping the site and picking up the debris. All were courteous and always asked if there was anything else the could do for us. They went above and beyond (even over state lines) to get the materials needed to make our project ideas become real. Unforeseen changes that had to be made to accommodate our unique site were taken in stride, with a smile even. At times they provided us with unintended entertainment like watching the supervisory crew figure out how to unload the sand remaining on the trailer from the ton bag of sand - then pulling it off with sheer man-power, themselves. This was a great example of the teamwork that was apparent throughout the job. There were times when communication got a bit muddled by they always got things straightened out.
