"The crew arrived at 8:30am. They put tarps over my foundation flowerbeds. by 9:00am, old roofing materials were being dropped onto the tarps. Some fo the workers bundled the shingles and hand-carried to the roof edge, refuse-trailer was parked. The old shingles were dropped into the refuse-trailer. By 10:30am, the tarps were rolled up and taken to the refuse-trailer in wheelbarrows so as not damage my front lawn's septic field. by 11:00am, workers were inspecting my yard for stray roofing, picking them up by hand. A large flatbed truck arrived by 11:35am, loaded with my new roofing materials. After the materials were off-loaded, the workers set up ladders, and hand-carried everything to the roof. After that was completed, a small generator was set up for air nailers, and they began installation of my new roof. By 4:00pm, they began the final cleanup. Trash was picked up and put into the refuse-trailer. By 5:00pm, the work was done. A last-minute inspection got rid of some leftover trash. The man leaf-blowing debris, even cleaned out my gutter! And before they took down all of the ladders, they even put my disconnected downspout back together! At 5:09pm, the refuse-trailer was covered, re-connected to the truck that brought it, and driven away. The roofing crew left at 5:25pm, but not before I thanked them. I told them how much I appreciated their hard work, and appreciated them taking time to re-connect my gutter's downspout as they completed their inspection of my yard."

"Through word of mouth, I called Camden to provide an estimate for a leak in the valley where the roof of the original structure and an addition join together. During the initial inspection/estimate, the original quote was only for repairing the valley at $750, the lowest of three estimates I requested. <br /> Once the workman got on site, he raised concerns regarding the rest of the roof on the addition. The addition on the roof had been placed poorly, to say the least, and he was concerned that even repairing the valley would not correct other defects in roof which could cause more leaks in the future. Also he did not feel the repair could be guaranteed with all the other defects. After a brief discussion and personally looking closer at the roof, the contractor quoted an additional $600 for re-shingling the roof of the addition. <br /> While I will admit it does sound like sand bagging, of the three quotes I received, none of them mentioned the defects in the roof or quoted a price for re-shingling the addition. I believe do it right the first time, so to me the extra money was well spent. In all, from quote to completion took 3 days. <br />"

"Stewart Home Remodeling is a very reputable company. Mr. Stewart and the co-workers were very friendly, open in communication and courteous. They performed 4 different jobs for me all done in a day and a half. Very good workmanship. Treated post were added to my porch and the painting of the post has not been done, but was explained to me that after they had a chance to dry out they would return to paint them and the job will be complete. I believe Mr. Stewart to be a man of his word an he will return to do so. I&apos;d encourage any one to give them a try."
