"We had been having leaking in our ceiling near our chimney for almost a year, despite having had our roof and gutters and having our chimney flashing redone last year. After a number of frustrating follow-ups with our original roofer and chimney repair company, we called S&K, which came highly recommended on our community page. Sean came out within two weeks despite a very busy rainy season. He checked our roof and told us quite honestly that the problem was not the roof or even the flashing, which had been done well but the porousness of our older bricks. He applied some silicone sealant right then and told us to call him again if it didn't work after the heavy rains this weekend; he also mentioned we should just keep periodically reapplying this sealant ourselves. This leak has stressed us out for months and Sean was extremely honest and helpful. He didn't try to sell us any expensive repairs but was upfront about the problem. The level of professionalism, knowledge and service exhibited by Sean and everyone we spoke with is so rare nowadays; we can't recommend him or S&K highly enough."

"My roof issues stem from solar panel installation. The installers damaged several shingles, including roof vent shingles, and upon my complaint did an awful job trying to patch it. I called American Home Contractors for a survey of the damage, and they sent out Isiah, who did a phenomenal job. He wrote up a very excellent report detail all of the damage and repairs needed to bring my roof back to its original condition. He supplied me with clear pictures of everything, and took time to explain everything to me so that I could understand the estimate. "This painting team was excellent, we will call George's Painting for all future painting projects.  The vice-president, Anthony B, came to the house and provided an estimate for the work.  While this estimate was slightly higher than the three other estimates we received, Anthony was the most impressive and could start the job right away.  He listened to our concerns and advised us appropriately.  This was a massive job.  There was about 2200sq ft of wallpaper covering two stories that needed to be removed and about 1000sq ft of faux painting that needed to be removed.  Anthony and his team completed this job in four days.  The painters arrived on time everyday.  They were polite and were responsive to all our questions.  The wall paper removal was tedious, so Anthony had 8 painters come to the house and complete the work.  After all the wall paper was removed, the painters prepared and repaired the walls for painting.  Our house looks magnificent.  Anthony even had the painters come back and complete some touch up painting after the electrician came through and installed several ceiling fans, leaving the walls damaged.  This is a very good and reliable company.
