"Everything was good until John's guys didn't show up on the agreed upon date. After multiple phone calls and texts, our fence was finally installed two weeks later. The fence itself looks pretty good. There's a gap in the gate, but it's not worth having them come back for. I paid the 50% deposit via credit card. I was contacted almost immediately after the fence was completed to pay the remainder with one small catch- the credit card machine had failed and would take 20 days to replace. John wanted cash and wanted it the next day. We worked it out and when he came to pick up the cash, I actually paid him extra to come back and seal the wood. August 19th was when they were due to come back. He replied on August 22nd that his staff were sick and he would be coming soon. 4 texts and 4 calls later, I haven't heard a word from John."

The painting was actually done on two separate occasions, because after seeing the great job Carlos did the first time we decided to ask him back to do more.  He showed up right on time as promised for each estimate and for each job.  His finished work was just perfect!  All of the edges were very precise and neatly done, which is something other painters have not been as careful with in our experience.  He also cleaned up everything!  I could not be happier with his work, and the prices are reasonable especially considering the quality.  For the second job, he brought along another painter and the work went pretty quickly.  I will be calling Top Notch Painting for any future work and highly recommend them.
