"I thought about an addition for several years; then interviewed and received bids from about 6 companies. I wanted a workroom with: * built-in storage cabinets and desk * space for the washer, dryer, freezer, and sauna. * ample space for my projects JB Construction’s bid was reasonable and fair. Joe is professional, honest, responsive, and easy to work with. He finds and hires quality subcontractors, and I am impressed with the work that was completed on my addition. He is hands-on, was involved in the process, and checked in often as the work progressed. He actually did quite a bit of the work himself. I really appreciated how Joe suggested improvements that I never would have thought of. These included enlarging the space from 280 to 320 sq ft, adding a sun tunnel when the skylight wouldn’t work with the roof line, a built-in cabinet where a window was removed, an exterior electrical outlet, and an overhead light in the corner cupboard. Joe was able to salvage and reuse the old brick on the front of the addition. This, along with the two original windows integrated the addition seamlessly with the rest of the house. It was done so perfectly; neighbors have asked where the addition was built. I’m extremely picky and am thrilled with my new addition. It’s lovely, functional, and my preferred room in my house. Joe has a lot of repeat customer jobs and I can see why. This was a great experience and I’m glad I went with him. I plan to use JB Construction for future projects and recommend him to everyone I know."

"The original reason I chose Average Joe's was the consultation and estimate process. Everything was covered so thoroughly, the process from beginning to end, even things we didn't think of asking. Our deck turned out so well and we love it! We get compliments on it all the time and we're happy we chose a composite replacement. A special "thank you" to Adrian who fixed a piece of our siding - it was hidden by the old deck, but it had come loose and he fixed it before I could even ask him the following morning. My goodness. Despite all the delays that inevitably came (none of which were his fault), he took ownership and made the kind of adjustments that kept the project on time and found ways to cut costs for me. I have nothing but high praise for his foreman as well. His foreman constantly stayed in touch with me and when subcontractors were running late, he would let me know right away. "Our project with Joe went absolutely spectacularly! From the planning, to the start date, to demo, to the painting and installs. Communication outstanding all along the way. We had some supply chain delay issues (vendor related), and Joe did a fine job mitigating any slowdowns. We are **** happy with our results and will use him again.
