"Responded quickly to telephone call. Had basement family room remodeled after a sewage backup. Was able to work with our request. We believe that the requested drywall installation was subcontracted out to another company, called Berea Drywall. While the job completion was adequate, there are gaps in the ceiling dry wall and many rough areas in the bathroom and family room areas.
While construction was in progress, contractor cut the main water line with a saw and did not inform us until after we called them upon return from work to find the basement family room wet yet again.
While frustrated with this experience, I would give this contractor another chance, I would just be more insistent in my expectations.

"James from JZ Construction LLC was phenomenal. Not only was he transparent in his quote pricing, he moved some things around to make sure the job got done on our schedule. The tile work was beautiful and well done. The rebuild took a day less than we had planned. He even helped connect us with an electrician and repaired the cuts in the drywall done by the electrician. He and his team were amazingly nice. James went above and beyond. Will hire again for future jobs!"

"Marcus is very skillful and a wealth of knowledge. When you're hiring Marcus he's not only going todo what you want , but educate you on the project so you're not in the dark. Marcus is trust worthy, safe and very respectful as a female I can very much appreciate that. Learning about Marcus because I'm very specific who comes in my home . I learned he has a background in property management and has a clear current background check . Marcus also worked on the military housing which I can see a distinction in craftsmanship and cleanup. Marcus has done a variety of jobs and most recent CUSTOM BUILT AND INSTALLED a breakfast bar to help save space in my home. I saw a vision and Marcus made it come to frustration and better than I expected. If you need a sign , HERE IT IS HIRE HIM! YOU WILL NOT REGET IT!"

They took the time to cover the work area, keeping the demolition dust to a minimum. "Charlie was easy to deal with. Work started right away (by putting down drop cloths) and was finished in under 3 hours. The bathtub looks like new. The guy who came was professional. They came back later after everything was dry and put our tub/shower door back on."

"There was caulking out here and there were two skylights. He was supposed to be repairing the drywall around them. He started one and rather than putting up the drywall repair stuff and going to the next one while the first one dried. He stood on top of the ladder using a hairdryer to make it dry faster. He used his time so inefficiently. In order to get them both finished, I had to pay him extra and that should not have been the case. The work he did was okay. He did a decent job, but if you sign up to sell a Deal. You sell a Deal. The deal was supposed to be for three hours and I ended up paying him for five hours. It was supposed to be a Deal, but it was not a Deal."
