"The owner of the company came out on a Saturday to work on my sprinkler system. The system was in disrepair due to home owner neglict before I purchased this place. We walked through my entire system to see what was where, turned on the sprinklers manually to see how bad "bad" was. To my astonishment, the system was not as bad as I thought it would be. Roy figured out what was good/bad/ugly and gave me what I really needed to focus on. No upselling, no "replace everything and I'm happy to charge you", just straight talk and really professioal. Everything is now working and I'm in great condition. There are more things I want to get done in the future so he will be back. "The estimator was knowledgeable, on time and courteous. However, he never provided an estimate, even after I followed up/called to ask when it would come and was told it would be provided. Just never heard from them again. I think they are more geared to commercial jobs, and they are probably very good for those customers, but if you have a residential project, I'd suggest not wasting your time asking them for a proposal."

"Half of their work is very good. The other half is mediocre. They patched, acid etched and coated our 58 year old concrete porch with polymer modified coatings. Less than 6 months later the coating is worn and chipping off. They acid etched and coated the garage floor and said it would probably crack someday. Someday was 3 weeks. They removed the old wrought iron railings and installed new aluminum railings whose angles and placement do not match. They still have not replaced the small railing gate protecting the basement stairs. They installed Unilock Pavers. The pavers are basically level. They were supposed to repair and reinstall our chain link fence gate. They dug out one post and reset it leaning north. The gate was worse than before they started. We had to pay someone else to fix it so that it stays closed. They removed and replaced the asphalt driveway and did an excellent job but we spent 2 weeks with the driveway dug down to the clay with machinery and debris everywhere. The two river rock sections are very well done. They work, when they please. They say “we’ll be here tomorrow” and finally show up days later with increasingly outrageous explanations. This project is not finished and we are very displeased with the quality of the work and the way that Uptime Builders do business."

"While it took quite a lot of effort on our part to finalize the colors, pattern, etc, once scheduled, the crew promptly showed up every morning on the job, worked with the village inspector to ensure the base and landing step construction met local codes and best practices (village required a deeper base than originally laid by the crew).  They worked quickly and with as little disruption and as cleanly as can be expected.  
After the first winter, there was some settling along the house due to filling in a window well done by another contractor.  I called Maria and she came out, took a look, and sent her crew out to re-lay the area and backfill to make things right at no additional cost.
Overall, we are very happy with the end product and would recommend working with Maria and crew as long as you have a pretty decent idea of what you want in terms of design.
