The simultaneous pressing of fridge and freezer worked perfectly. The flashing error codes went away! Mark was so thoughtful and thorough as we discussed pros and cons of replacing the ice maker. Because of the age of the fridge and the unreliability of that Samsung ice maker, the answer was “No”. All of the help on the phone was free of charge since I didn’t need a service call. "The work was performed between Sept 16-19 2019. Darryl and his crew arrived promptly at 8:30 on Sept 16 as planned. They pressure washed the entire house during the first day and began prepping the exterior wood for painting. They scraped, sanded and caulked the wood. Darryl pointed out several areas of rotted wood in addition to the ones I knew about; he repaired all of them under the original estimate. We chose the paint colors from the Sherwin Williams selection samples. Prep work continued throughout the second day while part of the crew began painting. Painting, prep work and wood repair continued through the third day. The fourth day was only for the final (second) coat in the areas still needing it. The crew was very polite and cleaned up at the end of everyday. They stored their ladders and equipment in a tidy area away from the house everyday. They arrived around 8:30 and worked until 4:00. "Excellent experience from the start. The owner, Steve, took my initial call and took time to explain the entire process for cleaning the ducts. I have lived in my home for 16 years, I own pets and have never had this service before. Steve assured me that this service would make a difference in the hvac in my house. They scheduled me for a convenient date with a window for the service to start of about 2 hours. The day of the service, Jason and Lee called to let me know they were running early on their schedule and they were actually able to come to my house a little early.  They were professional and friendly. After a brief tour of the house to identify all the ducts and cold air returns and the furnace, they started right away. It was a rainy day, but they made sure not to track dirt or mud into the house and even wiped up the area around the door before they left. They took the time to explain all the process and made sure that everything was working properly before they left. The cost for the service was exactly as quoted. No hidden charges or surprises. The whole process took a couple of hours. Because Steve did such a good job explaining what was going to happen on the initial call, I felt totally prepared for the work.

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
