"Beautiful job by Troy & Co. Our backyard was useless with standing water and a mud pit under our deck, but Troy installed a french drain system and buried several downspouts to divert the water away from the middle of the yard and installed some river rock with a border under the deck to make it an attractive area versus an eye sore. Will definitely be hitting Troy back up for some more landscaping work in the spring."

"Brian and his crew were absolutely incredible. We just moved into a home in Takoma Park, MD and our front and back yard were in need of some major work. The backyard was a complete jungle. It was extremely overgrown with weeds, brush, poison ivy, and dead/unattractive trees. Brian's crew manually dug out everything and removed all of the dead trees as well as their roots. They also cut back a ton of bamboo and then laid mulch down in the entire yard. Brian and his crew were able to start within days after getting the final quote. Brian is an extremely reasonable, knowledgable, and caring person. In addition to his landscaping knowledge, he is also a "master gardener." We had no clue about what to do next, so he offered to draw out some sketches of designs (free of charge) as well as ideas for plants and flowers that would be suitable for our particular yard. "We have a backyard that really is starting at zero. Lots of ground ivy and bare patches. Got a late jump on calling companies. Spring being the busy season, lots of landscaping companies are overwhelmed. I contacted Distinct Landscaping, and Kurt the owner emailed me back within two hours. Said he couldn't do the job, but gave me advice on the work, and was extremely professional. I was really impressed that he took the time to respond, where a lot of people would have either ignored it or even worse tried to push me off until it was too late in the season to plant grass or seed. Can't speak to the actual work they do, but professionalism and courtesy go a long way, and if we have another project in the future i will be sure to call Distinct Landscaping again.
