They consulted with me on construction day, and completed the $2900 job nicely in 2 days. Being pleased with their work, I asked for help designing a landscape project along a 50 foot stone wall. That $2200 job was also done very well in one day. When issues arose, Lily handled them like a boss. I really appreciated her calling me directly to offer a solution. Lily was very kind and highly professional, which makes a huge difference with me. I am posting this review because I want people to know they can trust lily and her team to do the right thing. I can also highly recommend them for both hardscape and landscape design. "We had a fantastic experience with JK Gardening Lawn & Garden Care, from start to finish. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of service exceeded our expectations. Kevin and his uncle came out to plant 20 emerald green arborvitae trees along our driveway. They dug all the holes by hand, demonstrating incredible effort and precision. They even moved the excess dirt into a neat pile exactly where we requested. Once the job was done, they thoroughly cleaned up and even blew the driveway free of debris. We couldn't be happier with their professionalism and attention to detail. Highly recommend!"

"Fantastic! Professional service, four Leland Cyprus trees two stories tall, carefully removed, stump ground, fresh top soil for new arborvitae which were planted and staked well. New plantings were spaced well and soil tamped around root ball. Mulch applied.Old plant material removed and yard neat as a pin when work completed. The work was done very well with a knowledgeable crew , friendly, and they show pride in their work. I would highly recommend their services. My landscape looks fresh and new, very happy with a job well done."

"The front yard of my townhouse was a mess. I had mostly weeds and dirt and a burning bush and tree that was out of control. Juilo and his crew came in and within two days, removed the burning bush, trimmed the remaining bushes, trimmed back the tree and installed a beautiful retaining wall, with river stone and perennials, and added new sod. "Yard By Yard Makeovers did a wonderful job. They arrived on time about 8am, did everything that we needed done, and were finished by 3pm. And this was no mean feat. The porcelaineberry's roots run deep since it's invasive. The mint was everywhere in one area, as was the pokeberry in another. And poison ivy is, well, poison ivy. They dug everything up and disposed of it. They pruned our crape myrtle and dug out the "weed tree." They transplanted two types of plants from one bed to another. They put down grass seed in two now empty areas. And they created two beautiful new plant beds, fertilized and mulched. They also helped me pick out which new perennials would be the most appropriate for planting, keeping in mind the sunlight that would be available and that we wanted to stick with natives or native hybrids. We are so excited about our new plant beds, as are our neighbors, who no longer have to look at two overgrown messes. We can't wait to watch over the coming years as the plants grow and flourish! We now have the best looking plant beds on the block."

"We have a backyard that really is starting at zero. Lots of ground ivy and bare patches. Got a late jump on calling companies. Spring being the busy season, lots of landscaping companies are overwhelmed. I contacted Distinct Landscaping, and Kurt the owner emailed me back within two hours. Said he couldn't do the job, but gave me advice on the work, and was extremely professional. I was really impressed that he took the time to respond, where a lot of people would have either ignored it or even worse tried to push me off until it was too late in the season to plant grass or seed. Can't speak to the actual work they do, but professionalism and courtesy go a long way, and if we have another project in the future i will be sure to call Distinct Landscaping again.

I purchase one of the specials and I was amazed by the level of service I received; they far exceeded my expectations!!!  

My Angie?s Big Deal coupon was worth $450 in landscaping, but I did not need this much work at my house, I only needed help pruning my 30 foot tall bushes. 

Danny came out, and agreed that I had bought a coupon more than I needed; I was amazed with his honesty. So, we walked around my house and we found more landscaping that his crew could do.  In the end his crew pruned my 30 feet wall of bushes, pruned and shaped the canopy of hardwood trees in the front yard, and reshaped my older bushes into balls and squares.

I keep getting complements on my yard from my neighbors.  I will definitely use Danny and his crew this spring to redesign my whole house?s landscaping.
