I recently purchased a condo and the floors were very creaky and not the color I wanted. After contacting Marcel, he quickly came to my place to give a quote. Marcel and team quickly got to work and provided me with regular and clear updates. My floors were fully replaced and stained within a week. The Team had to put in extra work as there were electrical conduits under most of my floors The floors now do not squeak at all and the stain looks great! "Mike was outstanding. I cannot express how good he is. Attention to details, on time each day, goes above and beyond. With no help from me he moved all then furniture, placed old carpet underneath so as not to scratch new floors, placed every piece of his equipment on top of some sort of protector. He tied up the old carpet easy for trash pickup, He didn't make one mistake, floors look and feel amazing. He went to the store each morning before 8 to get trim or transition pieces that I failed to get when I bought the flooring, he even picked up the flooring after I picked it out. He is trustworthy good man that does great professional work at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Mike Osan at Arkadia hardwood flooring. Mike specializes in hardwood, laminates and vinyl. He will also being doing my stairs in real wood next."

"The end job was excellent.  They came every day, stayed all day until the job was finished.  We are very happy with the finished product.  However, they did not return calls promptly and were going to leave the job unfinished.  By unfinished I mean they were going to leave without properly  installing all the shoe  molding.  They were going to leave a putty joint between the floor and baseboard showing.  They also charged us for the additional shoe molding which we believed was included in the original price. I do
recommend them justmake sure you include everything you want  written in the contract."

"Installers did not come on time, two hours late. Then they had to validate that we paid Empire, which took an hour. The estimate of work was totally wrong, we were supposed to get a floating floor but the installers said they could not do that So they instead did a complete teardown of the existing floor and removed all the old tiles. The quarter round was included in the price of the materials but was never installed because we did not get a raised (floating) floor. So I think I was overcharged for the materials which were not used. I spoke to a number of persons at Empire about such issues without any resolution to my satisfaction. Besides all the problems encountered we do like the floor and it nice looking."
