"Lone Star Carpets installed all my flooring and shower tiles for multiunit homes in south Austin. My sincere appreciation is well-deserved to Mr. Tony Rodriguez! He is an experienced, well educated, well-informed, a professional and quite personable individual. Tony is the contractor working with my excellent builder, Truitt Group- Mr. Logan Leen. Tony himself was directly involved in the project from the beginning: getting all the necessary measurements, ordering martials, following up with the installation crew, and making the final inspections of the installations. He also left me with the plenty leftover tiles and material for possible future repairs or renovation!! Tony certainly gives his full attention and care one will need during a home construction! Thank you Tony. My appreciations of his installation crew: Mr. David Romero installed almost all flooring and shower tiles. He is efficient and very conservative with material usage, yet installs quality work. He is very hard-working individual and makes sure to get the job done and done wright! Mr. Juan is the crew lead as well as a great installer. He leads the group by example and makes sure all works are done correctly. Mr. Roger is a good installer and seems enjoys his work and is just happy person. "We recently purchased carpet and had it installed by Peoples Signature Flooring. Julie and Robert own this shop-at-home mobile flooring company and I highly recommend them. This is my first review on Angie's List so you know I like them a lot! Robert spent literally hours at our home making sure we were picking the right carpet for our home and needs. He brings all the carpet in his van and picks about 10 that he thinks you will like from your previous phone conversation. In those hours at your home he will help you whittle it down to the carpet you like the texture and color of (there's really a lot more to carpet than I knew). After narrowing our results from 10 to about 5, he sat on our floor in the master bedroom (because that was the lighting we would be seeing our carpet in mostly) while we felt with our hands and our feet the carpet we might purchase. While Robert was here he presented us with a quote for our top 3 carpets and pads and had our "best world scenario" installation day. The next day Julie called with an installation date within that window. She explained when their installers would arrive and that they would stay until they were finished. Two weeks later the installers arrived within the time frame we were told. They replaced carpet in 3 of our bedrooms and were done by early afternoon. The installers were professional and cleaned up very nicely after themselves. The only thing we had to do was move everything out of the rooms with the exception of the beds. The installers moved the beds as needed. Julie called me the day of installation to make sure I was completely satisfied. I was! Robert has been a wealth of information with vacuum recommendations to care and maintenance. I will warn you getting new and good carpet installed is not cheap. "Doug and Don were very easy to work with.  Doug went over how he would stretch the carpet and why his method was better than how the carpet was originally installed.  He guarantees his work until the carpet is removed.  There was a seam that was very noticeable.  He said he could make it almost invisible so I had Doug and Don return a few days later to make that repair.  I am very satisfied with their work and their honesty. <br />"

"Bob is very pleasant to work with. No pressure, patient and glad to address any questions and concerns. Punctual in coming to measure and very quick to provide a detailed proposal. The installation crew was punctual, careful with our furniture, paid great attention to detail, and are remarkable in their ability to measure and cut precisely and quickly. Day one was spent storing furniture in the garage, removing carpeting and some tile, and leveling and sealing the floor. Started about 8:30am and left about 2:30pm so the floor could dry overnight. Day 2 completed the entire installation, clean-up and replacing all the furniture. Started about 8:30am and finished about 6:00pm. The only thing that was a surprise was that we needed to make sleeping arrangements the first night. Because the floors needed to dry thoroughly overnight, and our bed was stored in the garage, we weren't able to sleep on it. (When we had floors installed in a previous home the prep was different and the mattress was set on the floor so that we could use it overnight.) Fortunately we have two guest bedrooms and were able to use one of them. The bed in the other guest room (the better one) was covered with stuff we'd removed from shelves. If we had known in advance we would have stored stuff differently so we could use the better bed that night. The new floors look great and we would gladly recommend this company."
