The bids we got from folks ranged widely, but only Ion seemed to understand what it would take and came in with a more than reasonable bid. This was no small project and took over two weeks to complete, and every step of the way Ion and his one-person crew were on the job promptly each morning and took care to consult us on every issue that came up. He also took the time to make certain we could deal with various daily tasks and even a major crisis (our water heater tank broke, flooding the basement in week two -- meaning they had to deal with heavy traffic in and around their working area at times). Despite the tumult, the progressed nicely throughout.... The restoration itself looks wonderful and enhanced the look (and certainly the value) of the property. We were constantly consulted on decisions related to material and design, and the Ion's craftsmanship is evident in the final product. We highly recommend I.C. "I recently contracted with Abalia Construction to finish my basement, and overall, my experience was great! Things that stand out for working with Khaled are his communication style, his ownership/creativity to meet the design in delivering the end-product and his efforts to keep our project timeline and budget. Clearer communication on these fronts could have mitigated some of the concerns I had during the construction process. However, Khaled overcame these challenges by taking an active role in addressing any issues even when it meant that he had to re-do some of the activities again, bringing his workers back, or even him spending long hours to complete the job to our satisfaction. In summary, Abalia Construction delivered a basement finishing project that showcased creativity and was completed within the agreed-upon timeframe and within budget all with an excellent communications. Without any doubt, they will be the first I reach out to for my next project."

"I hired Apex to do some finished carpentry on a basement finish he trimmed all the doors and windows, installed baseboard, installed wainscoting on the wet bar, and trimmed the outside door, I am very happy with the quality of his work, his quote was very reasonable, he was very responsive when I had questions, he showed up when he said he would and he cleaned up after himself, I will definitely use them again, Ken is going to be my go to guy for sure!"
