"Adam from American Roofing returned my initial call promptly. He came to my home to look over the job on the day and time he had promised.  The estimate was given to me quickly and I made arrangement for the roof to be installed.
The day of the install they arrived on time and placed tarps to protect my property.
At the end of the day when the work was completed they cleaned up all the mess that was made. It actually looked better than when they started.

They also were able to complete the replacement on a tight schedule (for which we are so grateful!) and in the color we wanted, despite limited productions due to the pandemic. We have a multi-level, steep Tudor roof, and they had to remove old shingles and cedar shakes, so I know this was a complex project, and they did a great job. "From initial review for estimate, Adam was superb in educating me and answering all of my questions. More importantly, treated me with utmost respect as a woman engaging this project. I was sold on Universal being a certified CertainTeed product installer. It is a superior product than what is sold in general big box stores such as Home Depot. Day of 2 layers of old shingles removal, inspector Abe showed me the sins of others. The base wood was circa 1938, and needed to go. Not unexpected however they worked with me to arrange a loan to support the extra work estimate. As well my chimney was sadly in need of professional pointing beyond the shoddy patch jobs done by prior owners. I was assigned a project manager Ben, that kept all the work moving at pace as outlined. The workers were all responsible and respectful of me and my plants and property. "We had the shingles replaced on our roof due to hail damage. We were very happy with the quality of the work performed. The owner of the company, Kevin Hall, did all he could to make certain that we were happy and satisfied. Extra care was taken to insure that our trees, shrubs, and roses were not damaged as they were against the house. The cleanup was great as well! No left over nails, shingles, etc. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing work performed."
