Painting was outstanding, plaster work was a little rough, and had droppings in various places around the areas that were repaired and cleaned up well."

I also had my front door stained which did not come out to my satisfaction the first time and I showed Wilber a picture of the door and he came back and re-sanded the door and re-stained it. "hired kevin to do a roof on a sunporch end of August. Completion date was supposed to be per contract, july 2nd however wasnt done until July 7th which is was a whole another issue. Weekend of July 25th roof starts leaking again, contacted Kevin, he came out Monday to repair it. Again guaranteed my mom that this was fixable and he knew what had happened. Friday the 31st of July came home to a flooded sun porch, everything ruined etc. For the last week I have tried contacting Kevin for a refund. Now we are $2000 out plus have to have someone come in to repair what he didnt. Has blocked me off Facebook on personal page, wont respond to texts or calls. Very upsetting as it hasnt even been a month and my room is flooded, and now Kevin wont respond. Very unprofessional."

Cowan roofing provided the best quote out of the 5 we received, and won the job. They were on time every day, and let us know if there were going to be any delays. They kept us informed of project status and budget throughout the lifecycle of the project. The new roof is absolutely stunning and we have confidence it will last us a very long time. When it came time to replace the gutters and fascia around the roof, which was part of the work requested and quoted, Cowan Roofing again nailed it with top-notch subcontractors who were equally impressive in their professionalism and thoroughness. If you're looking for superior protection and a finish that lasts, standard drywall may be the better option for your walls and ceilings.
Professionally installed drywall lasts between 40 and 60 years. Drywall longevity depends on installation quality, maintenance practices, and environmental conditions. High-quality work combined with proper care ensures that drywall performs reliably for decades. You don't need a permit to replace drywall if you're just swapping out old panels without making any structural changes. If you're keeping the wall positions the same and not moving any electrical or plumbing, you can go ahead without a permit. However, if your project involves adding or removing walls or altering the home's infrastructure, you'll likely need to get a permit, which can add $50 to $150 to your costs. It's always a good idea to check with your local building department to make sure you're following the rules.
