Small jobs welcome

"At a glance, the paint job looks OK. What I'm disappointed with is the lack of attention to detail. There are clumps and drips in the paint. Things that were supposed to be fixed but were not like all nail pops, loose tape, cracks and imperfections. I found areas on the window trim where holes were patched but never sanded, just painted over. There is paint residue on almost every surface. A sprayer was not used but it feels like overspray. Paint got on surfaces and was never wiped off. There is paint on almost every outlet. I'm finding wall plates that were left on the wall and just painted around. Most of the furniture and large pieces were left sitting in the middle of the rooms and a dresser from a back room was left sitting in the dining room . I know it was a rush job because he told me there was another job to get to. My pictures only show a fraction of the problems. I sent him a text expressing my concerns with no response. I did not expect perfection, but wanted it done right"

"They did a wonderful job, came on time and were very professional. Mr. Ecsabar quote a price and stayed with it. When they finished it was like the damaged never even happen. I highly recommend them. We plan to use them in the future."

"The personal and professional pride and attention to detail BWSS takes is reflected in the excellent quality of the work and is performed at reasonable prices. BWSS has repaired the roof and gutters, replaced the deck, and installed hardwood floors. The exterior of our natural cedar shingled house hadn't been washed or treated in 20 years. BWSS power washed and stained the house taking it from black back to it's original natural splendor! I plan to use BWSS for several more projects. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Ruckersville, VA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
