"First Fence were very responsive to provide a quote. Provided opinions regarding fence layout but put my requests first. Their quote was in line with other quotes but we selected First Fence due to the accompanying warranty. Installation scheduling was prompt and they were able to make last minute adjustments to layout after I changed my mind. The installers worked quickly and maintained attention to detail. I checked progress approximately every 3 hours to review quality of workmanship and raise new issues - they were receptive to adjusting to my requests as they worked. There was one minor defect that we noticed after completion of the installation - they sent a different crew the next day to resolve the issue. Very pleased with the result and have had multiple inquiries from neighbours looking for a recommendation for a fence contractor."

"Weather impacted the time line but we knew from our first meeting that Mr. Arthur was the right contractor. He talked us through the process, gave us ideas to help design the deck we wanted and he and DeDe kept us informed throughout the entire process. We Are very satisfied with the work and get lots of compliments, even other contractors who have come for other jobs have complimented the workmanship of the fence and deck. They are great people who stand behind their work. I waited a bit to post my review to see if they would come like they said if there were any issues and when we had a minor issue, they came within that week and took care of the issue. "<p>Professionalism is lacking with this firm.  Work was done as promised.  Four or five months after its completion, I made a warranty claim.  It has taken more than three months to resolve.</p> <p>#1) Wait – wait –wait – warranty work is not given any priority.   The associate in charge of scheduling actually left me a voice mail stating this policy!</p> <p>#2) Scheduled an appointment to make the repairs and no one showed up nor did anyone call. I did receive a prompt apology once I called the next day asking why was I stood up.</p> <p>#3) Sent a repairman out who could make only one of two needed repairs – wrong supplies -- even though their procedure for warranty work requires a site visit and a written statement of work approved by me.</p> <p>#4) I came home from work one evening (June 2016) to find the second repair completed.  I was pleased it was done after more than three months of waiting.  I also felt violated because there was no scheduled appointment.  </p> <p> </p> <p>I did consider complaining about the intrusion onto my property.  However I suspected the complaint would fall on deaf ears because the owner has yet to answer my direct inquiry to him.  As I started this review, professionalism is lacking with this firm and I cannot recommend.</p>"
