"Contacted the company through Angie's List and promptly received a telephone call. I had a laundry list of 14 minor home repairs, and the person I spoke with listened to the first six or so and set up an appointment for 10:30 - 11:30 the following Monday. The work was subbed out to another contractor, who arrived around 9:45 a.m. (That was fine with me.) Here's my list and the work performed:
New caulk for bathtub in second bathroom - caulking done around the edge of tub, but not where tub meets floor
New caulk for master bedroom shower and toilet - caulking done around the edge of shower, but not where shower enclosure meets floor
Replace door knob into gargage - completed
Replace door knob into laundry room - completed
Fix weather stripping at bottom of front door - completed
Fix master bedroom closet door - not completed because contractor didn't have planer
Fix light fixture in the hallway - Said completed, but not completed (Light fixture was cleaned but not fixed)
Fix leak in master shower - completed
Fix smoke detector in hallway - completed
Affix dishwasher housing to cabinetry - completed
Fix second bedroom closet door - Said completed, but not completed (he smacked it so it got back on its track, but there's still a problem because the door won't roll smoothly)
Fix freezer door handle - Not completed, but he gave me the number of an appliance repair person he recommended
Rewire vintage lamp - Not completed; he said it wasn't necessary
Fix sliding glass door lock - Said completed, but not completed (I ultimately had the lock replaced by another provider)
The person who performed the work was friendly, competent, and quick. I wish that all of the items on my list had been completed, but am happy with the work that was done.

Creig has provided services for us for years.  Whatever needs doing on a house, he can and does do.  He is a skilled electrician, plumber, contractor, etc.  He has fixed garage doors, installed new garage door openers, installed lighting indoors and outside, fixed sliding glass doors, fixed plumbing leaks, etc. He comes immediately in case of an emergency to do emergency repairs.  He is always very professional, extremely skilled and a real gem. He cleans up thoroughly before leaving. I can't praise him highly enough.  He is honest and will tell you truthfully what can/should be done or what can wait. His charges are very reasonable. His work is excellent in every respect.

"Salvador and his team were great, they were very friendly and worked **** ** the projects. They removed our old grass, weeds, and pulled tons of old tree roots out, leveled the dirt, and added more dirt to the front end to make our lawn more flat and even. They also installed a short retaining wall and a new fence with gate.... the main guy doing the wall took lots of care while placing each block for our wall. They installed a new sprinkler and drip system, planted two trees that we purchased and rolled out great new sod. They laid pavers for a nice new porch along with a matching barrier wall at the end of our porch. Salvador was there every day working along side his guys and they cleaned up after every day. He also stopped by to check on the grass just a few days later and programmed our sprinkler system.... and he offered to come back to do our first mow and adjust the sprinkler system! They did a fantastic job, very happy. Thank you Salvador!"

"In June of 2010 my house flooded due to a faulty toilet tank intake line.  Forever Wood Construction was there within 2 hours & begin the steps needed to start the repair of my home.  They helped me move all my belongings out of the way so they could remove the water damaged part of the walls & the damaged flooring.  They set up blowers & dehumidifiers throughout my house to dry it out so they could proceed to put it all back together.  They totally matched the texture on my walls & you can't tell that I've ever had a flood or had any portions of the walls redone!  They even fixed some long standing electrical issues for me.  Great company!  I definitely recommend this company to others."

"We have had a great rapport over the years. They know the quirks of my old home and how to fix just about anything that has been done to it (or not done to it) over the past 125 years of its existence. We have worked under a time/material agreement for smaller jobs and contracts for the larger jobs. Communication is great, they are there rain or shine and stay on the job until its done. "I cannot overstate how happy I am with Ron and his great team from Babylon Builders. I had a dream to have a greenhouse built with a hot tub inside. I was looking for an oasis and a natural garden under one roof. I searched and interviewed many contractors and I at one point thought this idea could not materialize as there were discussions from other contractors who did not seem to get the feel and flow or vision of what I was trying to capture. In addition to the build, the placement of the greenhouse had to be attached to my balcony. Juan and Ron fielded many questions and were always ready to answer our numerous questions. Ron and Juan are great people and take pride in their work. Their price was great too. In the end, the results were better than we imagined! I highly recommend Babylon Builders to anyone who wants great craftsmanship and a job you will be proud of."
