John DeAngelo was wonderful.  He explained exactly what they would do step by step and they did everything he said they would do.  They washed down everything and did not put bleached water on the brass adornments on the doors.  They also sanded the metal doors that were caused to rust by the previous painter.  Not only was the house beautifully painted but the shutters were painted as well (I'd decided to replace them but now there is no need.  The little fence and gate I'm planning to replace was also painted.  My house now looks wonderful and new.  I was told that they would use two coats of paint and at first I expected for something to be shoddy but to my surprise, nothing is.  I was guaranteed that the paint job would last at least 20 years and I believe them.  Without cost they even repainted my mailbox to match my house.  I was so pleased with the work I asked John if he knew anyone that did floors.  He said yes and when ready I will definitely consider his recommendation, and I would hire anyone he recommended.  The person that finished up the work was very friendly and since having extra time said for a little extra he would paint the deck, which he did.  He brought the receipt back for the cost of the paint and that surprised me. I was amazed that nothing was done under cover and he reported to John all that he did.

"Upon accepting the assignment, Eric showed us choices for our shingles and even gave us locations in the area where that particular type and color shingle had been used. His team showed up exactly as promised, did what they were supposed to do AND MORE, cleaned up beautifully and left in a timely manner. "Bobby worked to shuffle his schedule around to help me repair my roof with only 24 hours notice with multiple days of storms ahead in the forecast. They were able to finish the job I started demolition on realizing I was not knowledgable enough to tackle this repair myself. I sent a picture of my current situation, and the next day his crew of 3 finished the job & cleaned everything up I tore off the day before in only two hours. This repair included replacing partial plywood sheathing (approx 4' x 4'). "I had 17 windows installed by Windows World. The quality of the windows appears excellent. Installation was accomplished by crew of 4 over about 6 hours. Installation went well and windows appear to be well installed. One concern is that the caulk lines are wide in some windows and may indicate small measurement errors. When installing replacement windows into fully brick home, the replacement window must fit into the smallest dimension. This also may explain some but not all of these wider than expected caulk lines. My biggest concerns with job are easily fixed by Windows World with better training of the installation crew. On demolition of old spec house aluminum windows, a torch is used to loosen the tarry adhesive used in these windows. If care it not taken this tarry material can be splattered on drywall surfaces near the window as the glass and frame are removed. This stuff is very diffidult remove from any surface it lands on. The clean up after the job needs to be improved. It was not terrible but could have been great if crew spent an extra 15 minutes. Some areas were not well swept up. After the job is complete, the crew should remove the three big labels on each of the windows. I asked for this to be done but it was lost in translation so I did it myself. Also and finally, the last step a window installation crew should do before leaving the site is to clean each and every window inside and out to remove caulk, grease, old window tar, sweat, etc that are inevitable parts of this type of project. It was a big hassle to do this after the fact particularly after spending thousands for the installation. I think many and perhaps all these issues were related to the fact the this job was large and 2 more jobs were still scheduled for this crew that day. So overall I am satified with the project and would still recommend WW but I hope the local Windows World of Baton Rouge francise does read this review and will make some simple upgrades to the training of their installation crews. In anycase new Windows World clients should be aware of these issues and be prepared to closely manage the installation phase of the project and make sure you are are fully satisified before letting the crew offsite."
