"George and his crew did an outstanding job! They were prompt, courteous, professional and really seemed to enjoy their work. George came to meet with us to estimate the work and provided us a quote within 1 business day. From estimate to completion, the team completed the job in 5 business days.
After day 1 we didn't like one of the colors we had chosen after seeing it on the walls. We talked with George about it and he was very accommodating, and just wanted to make sure we would be happy with the final results. This was a big change, but George only charged us for the cost of replacing the paint.
Overall, we were extremely happy with the quality of the work and would highly recommend George's painting to others!

"FDC Painting worked with us to ensure that they understood our needs (two in home visits to make sure they had it right). They scheduled us promptly after signing the contract. The team showed up on time and quickly worked through the project. They moved furniture and ensured the floors and furnishings were covered and well protected. Once walls were stripped and repaired, they used quality Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams paints. The house was kept clean and tidy. After the job was completed the owner of FDC followed up to make sure we were happy with his work and to ensure there was nothing else required from him or his team. Results of the job were very good. We would recommend FDC and use them again."

"Orlando and his crew replaced rotten wood, removed rust from metal trip, and prepped and painted the entire house. They came back to fix any areas that weren't finished to my satisfaction. The cost was reasonable and their work was excellent. I highly recommend this company."

"They repaired the roof and replaced the missing siding. Even though the siding was 20 years old, they were able to find a perfect match for it to look like it had always been there. After finishing the job, they cleaned up all the roofing materials that were taken off and took them away. My coworker needed work done and after this experience I have recommended Shingle Roofing to them.."

"Rene is hardworking, honest and above all, trustworthy - that is why I hire him. His pricing is also reasonable. The quality of his work is absolutely top notch - I just cannot say how much my wife and I value this. Our basement is fully functional, our kitchen came out looking exactly as we had envisioned it, and our bathrooms look fabulous. Needless to say, I'd recommend Rene in a heartbeat!"

"The carpentry and painting went well but caulking did not seal around portions of the bay window. More caulk was added on a return trip but still did not cover the gaps. When a supervisor called later for the final payment (cost now over $700), I said I would pay after the caulking was completed. He said I would get a return call to schedule and I said fine, the caulk gun will be left on the back porch. No one ever called again or returned again. The quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism of the sub-contract crew was good; it was the quality of the caulking and responsiveness of general contractor management that did not measure up.
We have since had the house caulked and repainted by a painting company.

"Evol was very responsive and returned my call right away when I reached out to him to extend the current patio. His team needed to match the color of the bricks with the existing patio bricks and they would not begin work until they did so. Once they found the correct color bricks they completed the work on time and the patio looks great! I will need to replace my fence in the near future and I definitely will call Evol and his team to do the work!"

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in Saint Inigoes, MD

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
