"They did a nice job on the fence modifications and gate replacement. The guys who came to install were nice enough but didn't hardly speak any English making it very difficult to communicate. When I spoke with the sales guy, I asked about adding drop rods and he couldn't find where to add them to the work order. I also asked about handles and we discussed having 4 handles, one on each side of the two gates. They forgot to install the handles and when they came back they only brought 2. The drop rods they tried to charge an extra $100 dollars for when they were already coming out to put on the handles they forgot. Drop rods are $20 for a set of 2. Literally takes 5 mins to install. Anyway, most of the experience was pretty good. But the details of the gate handles and drop rods to cap the project that was $2k was a bit cheap. "

"They did a nice job on the fence modifications and gate replacement. The guys who came to install were nice enough but didn't hardly speak any English making it very difficult to communicate. "JERRY D. I researched ANGIs list for fence installation and was contacted by 3 contractors. After review and on-site meetings I decided to go with LUX Outdoors. They had the best price and scope of work that needed to done. I was in contact with Alex Griener and a day after I received an estimate with the total price of 1850.00 and a discount of 50% showing a total of 925.00 which was promptly paid so the work could begin. After the work was completed I received another invoice for 925.00. I contacted Alex who proceeded to tell me the initial 925.00 was a down payment. I pointed out that a discount is a deduction from the price not a down payment. We went back and forth on text and he told me he was not trying to deceive me and sorry for the confusion, but this is the price it is. I am a senior citizen and every dollar matters. I would not recommend LUX Outdoors for any job and Im also asking ANGIs list to remove them from recommending them for any project. Not an honorable business!"
