"Job went perfect. I was approved for financing the day I called. When the contractor came out for the bid, he made a materials and labor suggestion based on our needs. The original estimate of 9k worth of unnecessary privacy fencing, that I could not afford, went down to 2.5k of sturdy chain link providing a safe play space for our rescue dog. The contractor said they are more interested in helping customers out than making large sales. The fence is very professional. It is even wired into the ground so our dog cannot dig under it. The city inspector said it was a "perfect" construction job. Finished in under 8 hours. Roughly 100 feet of chain link, posts, concrete, plus gate. High quality materials and the yard was spotless when the job was finished. Very trustworthy. I feel strongly that I got what I paid for. "I hired GCS for some repairs to my basement - drywall, installing a couple of cabinets, installing trim and painting.  Overall they did a decent job - showed up on time, finished the job quickly - but as this was existing construction, they did not take the extra care to protect the surroundings.  No drop cloth during painting (I was getting new carpet, so not a huge deal but a pain to clean off my tile, hard surfaces).  The final product was good EXCEPT for the painting - I will have to hire painters to come in and re-do the painting because of the poor quality.
