"EXCELLENT!!! Based on other reviews, I reached out to Paradise to troubleshoot an issue with flickering lights. I was shocked when Tim offered to troubleshoot the issue for free, despite estimating it could take 1.5-2 hours. Tim was prompt (even called to let me know he was running a few minutes late), wore a mask (COVID), was courteous, and determined the issue really quickly. He entertained answering all of my electrical questions, came up with the best path forward to resolving the issue, and provided a very reasonable quote for repairs. I will definitely be having him complete the recommended repairs! It is hard to find tradespeople like Tim in DC; available, knowledgeable, friendly, and, most importantly, a professional who takes pride in his work. If you have a need for an electrician, you must call Paradise Construction."

"I cannot say enough about how wonderful it has been to work with Gene Sibley and his entire crew at Stowe Contracting.  They are highly professional, extremely knowledgeable and efficient.  Gene guided us through the reno with numerous suggestions for improvements  He was always available by phone or text if we had any questions.  The work was started and finished on time and on budget.  Gene's crew arrived every day when they said they would and worked straight through the day only taking a short break for lunch.  When finished each day they cleaned up so thoroughly it was like they were never even there.  Their work -- tile, painting, woodwork, electrical -- is impeccable. Based on all how he has completed quite a few interior projects, including assembling small furniture pieces, I assume that the project will be satisfactorily completed. His attention to detail and concern for getting it right was laudable. I loved his way of excitedly telling me all he had to do to get around problems. He cared about quality. He also did a lovely job on the 2 spots in another bedroom which were not even part of the project. I have had so people do work here recently and I have to point out all the problems. Then I find more problems after they leave. It was gratifying to have someone get it all right the first time."
